The hotel has gone way down hill since my last stay (we have had at least 4 good stays). We will never stay again. Not sure if it's new ownership or what. We booked two rooms for one night. The bolt lock was completely busted off one room (405) they moved us to what they said was their last room (room 407) where that room had what looked like pry marks or screwdriver marks on the exterior near the lock with gauges of wood missing leaving the lock assembly exposed. We had to sleep there as it was 11pm and it was the only room open. Had to move furniture in front of the door to keep it from being entered. We were then charged twice for the room. One time on the card we booked with and one time on the incidentals card. We also had $99 held and another $50 held for this room when we were told it would only be $50. Was told Mr Pinto the crown plaza accountant would help when he got back from vacation in 10 days. We have to wait 10 days to get the extra $300 back we were charged. Worse part...the manager Manny yelled at me and threatened me. I felt so upset my husband began recording him yelling as all I was trying to do was get a refund for the overpayment and all he could hear was a male yelling and being very rude and totally unprofessional. This hotel used to be my go to but manny has changed my feeling of safety and he should not be running a hotel nor dealing with customers -ever! Not only is he hard to understand.....he is unprofessional and a little scary. Sad
