Hot spring Hotels in Sado

Hotel Mancho is a hotel located in Aikawa Orito Hamacho, Sado City, Niigata Prefecture. It is a historic hotel that opened in 1950. On July 1, 2021, I visited Senkakuwan Yangtze Island Amusement Park. From there, I drove to Hotel Mancho. However, the place I thought was a parking lot was the carry-in entrance, and I didn't know the parking lot (sweat;) I went around. Get a car at the front door. The parking lot was opposite the entrance. Enter the entrance. Check in at the front desk. Take the elevator to the room. Hiding the steak menu (bitter smile) X, × This day is room 710 on the 7th floor. It's on the sea side, probably oops! It is a Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats. You can see the Sea of Japan from the window. It was a room with a nice view instead of the entrusted room. TV, safe and tea set in the room. The toilet is a warm water toilet seat. Amenity was considerably higher than usual. I don't think I will use it because I go to the public bath, but there is also a bath. It seems that students on a school trip are staying on this day, so I decided to go to the public bath before the students came. Unfortunately, the wifi is on the corridor side, but the radio wave is so weak that it can hardly be connected on the window side. After entering the hot spring, it's beer time. At Hotel Mancho, we will stay for two consecutive nights with a breakfast-only plan, so the L Chiki I bought at nearby Lawson is a snack. Supper is also served with Lawson's snack set. You can see the sunset from the room. At 7 am, head to the breakfast venue. I was with a bus driver and guide on a school trip. A three-tiered lunch box format. Sea**** shabu-shabu is attached. It's full of volume from the morning. On this day, I went sightseeing in Onogame and Sado Kinzan. After taking a hot spring, beer time. I bought sashimi at the supermarket that day. I bought 3 packs because it was cheap (bitter smile) This completes a luxurious dinner for less than 1,000 yen. Breakfast at the same venue the next morning. Checked out and proceeded.

Staying alone. The building does not face the road and the approach of the pine forest is very peaceful. The lobby was also comfortable as Hiro 々. The room was old because it stopped cheaply, but it felt too large for a spacious size. I only had breakfast, but I was satisfied with the view at the venue on the 7th floor and the variety of buffets. After all, the bath was good! I got tired slowly in the open-air bath. Access is also very good. I was very satisfied. I want to stay again when I go to Sado.

The breakfast and dinner are amazing. The waiter at the banquet department is very friendly and can introduce rich dinner ingredients in English. Because the day of check-in, from Shinjuku to Shinjuku and then transfer to Sado Island by ferry, and then take the long-distance bus to the attractions, it is actually exhausted. But after enjoying the open-air hot springs provided by the hotel, it is exhausting, and after enjoying the colorful local singing and dancing performances, plus the comfort of the bedding, you can sleep well. This hotel is really a very high CP hotel this time.

The hotel is located on the wrong side, nearly 80 kilometers away from Liangjin Wharf, and 1 hour by bus. It is dark from the starting point to the terminal station. The hotel does not provide pick-up and check-in. I walked about 3 kilometers in the dark with my luggage. No street lights. The worthy thing is that the environment is beautiful and there are basically no tourists. There are no special features and attractions.

Most of the employees were very pleasant and caring people, and they had fun planning events with color 々. However, the evaluation was lowered due to three incidents (?). The first was that I rented a private open-air bath on the day of arrival, but the hot water in the bathtub was about one-third of it, and it was a hot water bath. I jumped out involuntarily and put a large amount of water in it and adjusted it. It was the first time for me to have such an inn. The second was that before 5:00 in the early morning of the next day, a loud broadcast of ”It's a fire, it's a fire” was broadcast in the hall. Of course, guests go out to the corridor and make a noise. We also went out to the veranda and looked for a way to escape. About 10 minutes later, an announcement was made, ”The current broadcast was a failure of the equipment.” That's it. Naturally, I thought there was a greeting from the inn the next morning, but there was no one. The third is that my husband couldn't go to the public bath on the night of the second day, so I tried to put hot water in the room to take a bath, but it didn't come out. If I contacted the front desk and kept it out until the person in charge came, I started out from when I came. I wondered when I hadn't cleaned it. That's it.

Just a 5-minute drive from Port Ogiko with its free shuttle, Ryokan Kamomeso offers Japanese-style rooms, natural hot spring baths and a sauna. The Japanese-style hotel houses a drinks vending machine and coin-operated laundry facilities. Air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms are fitted with a seating area with sliding paper screens, a TV and a safe. Guests sleep in traditional futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. All rooms come with a toilet and a washstand, while some have an en suite bathroom. Guests can unwind in an outdoor hot spring with garden views, or relax in a soothing indoor hot spring bath. A Japanese breakfast and dinner featuring seafood dishes are served at the dining room. Japanese-style hotel Kamomeso Ryokan is a 17-minute drive from the Sado Shokubutsu-en Garden, and a 22-minute drive from the Sado Nishi-Mikawa Gold Park.

Fureaihouse Sizu no Sato is located in Sado and about 40 minutes by car from Ryotsu Port. Free WiFi and LAN internet are available in each guest room. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow conveniences such as irons and hair dryers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a coin laundry. The hotel possesses 15 guest rooms.

The facility itself is retro in the Showa era, but the room is large and the view from the large window is the best, and it is nostalgic somewhere, and the toilet and washroom are easy to use and calm atmosphere. Hot spring ♨️ also has a retro bathtub and a brand new open-air bath ♨️ that was extended about two years ago, which was the most comfortable and the meal was delicious. Especially, I was really impressed by the happy service that the rice 🍚 was the best and I could have as many cups of okawari. As expected !! I had rice called the authentic rice of rice 🌾.

Nice hotel

I stayed in the annex in October 2021 and the end of March 2022, but the lake view that can be expected from the main building cannot be expected from the annex, which was originally a different inn. The amount of dinner may be excessive, but the breakfast was a delicate buffet. The hot spring ♨️ is a palliative low-temperature spring, and it is effective for chronic diseases, but it is forbidden for acute diseases. The men's bath at night is a bath in the annex, and you can feel the Showa era. I remember hearing that the open-air bath is a cypress bath and that the fragrant rhinoceros blooms. The next morning, the men's and women's baths are switched, and the bath in the main building becomes the men's bath. The public bath in the main building tends to be small with a capacity of 10 people. You can see Lake Kamo from the open-air rock bath. Ask for the shuttle bus when you stay. When you check in, you will specify the return bus.
