Matthuga - Jog Falls

This property is very close to Jog Falls, serene Calm and Peaceful area. We stayed here, during Saturday and Sunday on the 17th of August & 18th of August 2022, I must say its a beautifully landscaped property with many cottages, rooms, pool, dining area etc. What disappointed us was the quality of the rooms, toilets, etc. it was really pathetic for the price and profile they hold. Such a beautiful property, unbelievable way it was managed, maintained. Rooms were not clean, paints were broken, Shabby toilets, some insects all around the property, No Phones to call for support, No water bottles, no toiletries etc. We were surprised to see the way it was maintained. Outside of the room, the common areas in the property were pretty decent looking, except the pot holes on the approach road. This property is at such a happening destination should be maintained in a better way.

Please do not with the good reviews, this place is horrible! The rooms are bad, hard mattress, dirty, checked out within 10 mins after check in... For ppl looking for a comfortable stay, this is definitely not the place

It was a pleasure staying at Matthuga Home Stay, It is a nice Home Stay with excellent food and service. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Also the Home Stay is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.

All bad instances are mentioned in the title. few good things are very near to jog falls; economical, has swimming pool. Apart from these 2 not recommended. Food quality is average. Wont prepare anything even at requests. Bathrooms are not at all clean. Swimming pool are not cleaned often. It is cleaned only if they get good occupancy.

Was a decent place to stay. Only draw back is that there is no room service at all leading to hardship in the event of rain. Staff were very helpful. Vegetarian food served was decent and hygienic. Risk of unwanted creatures creeping into the rooms during rain

Thank you Matthuga.. Spent good quality time with family. Thank you for the good hospitality. The swimming pool was also clean, authentic food with awesome taste. The interior was also good with all greens in the balcony..

Not Worth for the Price they Charge, Furnishing is bad. Maintenance is poor No sufficient staff for service, No intercom, No TV. It is just very moderate place with high price imagine u shelling out 3000 per day for one room.

Had a amazing stay. The place is scenic and food was great. Best to visit this place during monsoon. Ideal for families and corporates. Pool is well maintained and clean. Pricing is reasonable. Would love to visit again. Cheers!
