This is a premium boutique hotel in a central location, close to town, beach,train station and approx 15mins from the airport. The hotel is fresh and clean but the most appealing part of the stay for us was the staff and the food. From the moment we arrived (Susannah at reception) everyone we met was so pleasant, friendly and keen to ensure our comfort at all times. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant- both were superb - catering etc is to a very high standard with attention to detail. Overall, an excellent place to stay and to eat.

Beautiful hotel in stunning waterside position. Luxury feel room with perfectly added touches such as Nespresso machine, gorgeous quality local Cornish teas, luxury hot chocolates & homemade biscuits everyday. Quiet in room fridge stocked with bottled water & fresh milk. Bathroom complementaries were of local, luxury handmade quality. Staff super attentive & all areas beautifully presented. We travelled with a dachshund & she was made very welcome, the main restaurant does not allow dogs however you can eat with pup on the terrace (beautiful views) plus there is an indoor wing available & also food is served in their the Working Boat waterside bar which was perfect, informal & with lovely surroundings. Their own beach at low tide & access to river swimming was a nice touch & early morning by car you can be on the local beaches for sunrise within 7 minutes. Would recommend & stay again.

This is just an update. I have booked in here for July with National. The hotel is currently closed for a refit so it should be much improved when it reopens at the end of June. Will let you know on our return :)

We arrived early and was tod that they would make every effort to get our room ready early. We after a very long drive from the midlands sat out on the external balcony and enjoyed a nice drink. The staff during our stay were first class and both courteous and friendly making us feel very much at home. The room was spacious and very clean with a large king size bed, coffee and tea including a Nespresso machine with pods. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower and quality towels. Parking was no problem and included overflow parking next to a really nice beer garden. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and portions ample to generous made all the better by the great service from all the staff. Location was perfect for all of Cornwall and the station nearby allowed easy travel to Penzance, St Ives, Falmouth and even Plymouth plus more. Would we go again, absolutely!

We booked Oceanside for my birthday. We chose a Balcony Bliss room on the first floor. It was everything I hoped for to celebrate my birthday. We decided to eat in the hotel on both nights. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was superb. One of the best and the staff…Oh my, so bright eyed and bushy tailed. Smiles all round. You made my day as I opened my cards and presents on my birthday. Thank you. Well, that wasn’t the end of it, I left the hotel with a beautiful plant and a lovely card from the staff. Thank you Wes for arranging it and for just being amazing every time we have come to Oceanside. You are amazing and we look forward to seeing you again. The plant is flourishing. The place was clean. The staff was helpful and accomodating. From reception to restaurant. However, i can hear footsteps from the hallway beacause they have wooden floors although it has carpet.
