White Hart Hotel

The location is perfect, situated just opposite of the St. Albans Cathedral Abbey. Their service was great too, the receptionist was kind and friendly. As for the cleanliness... the room is very clean. However, the room is very old. Creaking floors and walls. Uneven floors. Their isnt mold visually but there are moldy smells. There are cobwebs but only if you see closely. Their bed are extremely soft, like sleeping on marshmallows. Their TV have no channels at all, so nothing to watch. They do provide free wi-fi. As for amenities, all in provided including body wash, shampoo and bar soap. In the room, they have iron board, iron and hair dryer. Those who wanting for a drink, situated at their reception is a bar itself.

Very good size room, clean, good bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, reasonable price, perfect location

Stayed here for one night recently. The room was not good. The shower/toilet was small and not very clean. The hand basin to wash hands in after using toilet is in the room next to the kettle for making hot drinks so possibly loads of germs on the toilet door handle. There is mould in the shower and on the ceiling also mould around the windows. One of the window panes is cracked and cobwebs prevail between the secondry double glazed unit. The window sill has mould underneath the secondry double glazed unit with condensation stains on the sill. The furniture was a mish mash of different styles, curtains needed ironing. The complementry body lotion had already been opened and used. No complementry biscuits on tea/coffee tray. The pillows were flat and although matress reasanably comfortable it was very hot to sleep on possibly as it is a memory foam matress. We weren't expecting our room in a 600 year old building to be like a shiny new pin but a bit more care to cleanliness and detail wouldn't go amiss. We paid £111 for room only. Wouldn't recommend this hotel

Fourteenth century Inn, but very well converted. Shame they aren't allowed to put in a lift! Excellent base for exploring the town, about 100yds from cathedral and High Street. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be going back!

Very quirky room. Bar staff lovely. But no food after 8.30 pm we went to an early show and would have liked to have enjoyed more time in the pub with some food and drinks. The parking was great and the hotel building was great. The morning cleaning staff were really friendly and didn't rush us out. Would deffo stay here again.
