From the moment we arrived and received a warm welcome from Ting, everything was exceptional. The overnight spa experience was a gift from my daughter (a mother and daughter treat), and she had nothing but praise for Cilla, with whom she booked the package. Although the weather was cold, the outdoor spa pools were deliciously warm and enveloping and the peaceful surrounding gardens/setting beautiful, making the whole experience very relaxing...and quite surreal! Another world... Our room was delightful, and our evening meal could not be faulted. Harri looked after us very well. The beds were comfy and we slept well, ready for the spa to open this morning at 8, breaking off to enjoy an excellent breakfast at 9.30. There was everything you could wish for of the highest quality - the scrambled eggs probably the best I have ever had - and again the service was attentive. Throughout the whole of the stay we felt valued and looked after. There is so much to this spa in a luxurious setting. The time passed all too quickly, and I was reluctant to leave at 11. Looking forward to returning at the soonest opportunity - for two nights!

This was our 5th visit in 3 years and in our opinion the only place to go for a spa break, this time it was for two nights . Loving the refurbishments that have taken place over the last few years makes the hotel feel lighter and much more modern. Looking forward to the last step of the Brassiere which unfortunately is looking a little tired. The chic rooms always our favourite, lovely big comfy beds with black out curtains, a great nights sleep. We come to relax and it’s exactly what we did with lots of chill out time in the spa. We had a joint treatment room for our spa treatments , I had the most amazing scrub followed by a body nourish wrap and massage by Natalia, just wow . Didn’t feel rushed at all and was so relaxing would highly recommend this treatment and Natalia really knows her stuff skin felt so soft after. My husband had his usual hot stone massage this time with Amy and said it was the best massage he had ever had , we are regular spa users but the treatments at Sopwell are always the best and beat any 5 star hotels we have stayed at. All staff from the movement you arrive at reception to when you leave are just so friendly and accommodating. Special thanks as always to restaurant manager Gabor in the Brassiere for always making the evening a memorable one and Monica in the mornings greeting you with a friendly smile, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is a very high standard and cooked to perfection at every meal. This time we had Sunday lunch ( the best roast potatoes, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle ) , spa lunch and Brassiere dinner, all exceptional. We have already booked an extra night in July for our wedding anniversary with help from the lovley Francesca at front desk and look forward to seeing you all again .

Lovely stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Beautiful pool, great food and helpful staff. A shout out to Yoraslava, one of the staff serving at breakfast. She was so pleasant and helpful and her smile lit up the room each morning. (Hope I got the spelling of her name right)

Hotel was great, omboo restaurant excellent BUT we went as a family group of ten to celebrate a special birthday and were horrified to be told on arrival that the pool policy restricted under 16s. Apparently it’s in the fine print which we didn’t see. They were utterly immovable and despite the lovely hotel and good food, it spoiled the experience. Be warned!! Don’t expect under 16 to be able to swim.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and immaculate, the bed was comfy and the macroons on arrival made my children very happy! We had meals at the hotel on 2 evening and the food was delicious, our waiter was very attentive and recalled what we had to drink the previous evening. Breakfast was amazing, very high quality and amazing selection. Couldn’t rate this hotel any higher.

Brilliant service by Dennis, very accommodating and excellent mannerisms. Made our stay memorable. The hotel staff were sweet and caring. Kegan at the bar greeted us very nicely and we loved the spa. The views are beautiful and the bedroom was clean and nice . Great for a getaway!
