Very good location, quiet apartment, small and charming house. The facilities are convenient, the living room, kitchen and bedroom are separated, suitable for a family of three. For extra beds, you only need to set up a bed in the living room. The space is very spacious, although the kitchen is not suitable for Chinese cooking, simple breakfast, boiling and baking, and microwave heating are still acceptable. It's clean, the bedding is comfortable, and it's interesting to see the sea from the corner of the window. The room is very warm, so you don't have to worry about being cold. The bathing space is not big, but it's not cold either. The corner Italian restaurant is worth trying. The only small drawback is that the parking space is very crowded and SUVs tend to scratch the walls.

Superb location and lovely quaint accommodation with amazing sea views but would benefit from updating the bathroom.

The Majestic Mansions provides spacious apartment accommodation minutes from the sea front in St Clair.
Separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge room gives you all the space you need and all the equipment and appliances to be as self contained as you like.
There are restaurants and cafes a stone's throw away and you'll be on the seafront in a minutes walk.
Dunedin City is a short drive away providing lots to do and see.
We were able to get the free undercover parking every time without effort which was a real boon. The only negative is the steps up from the street and internally if you are not on the ground floor. We were on the ground floor and steps were not a deal breaker for us.

3rd visit to Majestic Masons. A 3 star appartment that rates 4.5. We had the sea view appartment, top floor. Note there is no lift. Great views from the sitting room. Kitchen though only has a portable 2 ring hot plate and a microwave. So cooking has to be well planned. Bathroom is a wet room but all works well. Down side all the windows are casement windows inline with the 1920 construction and can let a bit of a breeze in. Good welcome, laundry on site and garage parking. Great location and good value

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet. We had a view of the ocean from our windows. We were able to walk to good restaurants and down to the water to watch the surfers. Parking in the garages and on the street were easy.
