We booked a King suite, resort view. The bedroom had a window and the view, and the sitting room was essentially a dark closet. We voluntarily downgraded, without refund, to a regular, parking lot view, room without a separate bedroom to avoid the claustrophobic feel of the suite. The single room is the same size as the suite but without walls, so bright and spacious. The hotel is great for families for sure. As an adult I liked the vibe of the lobby with the jazz playing in the background. There's a bar, a few restaurants, a cafe, all indoors at the hotel.

This has to be one of the poorest experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. First of all, we reserved a king suite, telling them that there was 5 in our family. They assured us there was plenty of room to sleep all 5. When we checked in, I again wanted to confirm this and they said the room would be set for 5. If not, just let them know. When we got to the room, the king suite, which by the way was very small, had room to accommodate only 4—1 king bed, 1 Murphy bed. I called the desk and they said they would send up a cot. Not sure where we were going to put a cot in this very small “suite”! I had to call twice more, and on the final call they said they no longer had a cot—they had given them all out one was broken so they couldn’t supply one. I said this wasn’t acceptable—we had 5 bodies that needed to sleep. They said they had come up with a solution—a guy arrived with a mattress that we had to squeeze over in a corner on the floor! That was the solution for the entire weekend, all for the price of $500 per night!!!! Now today, we’ve asked twice to have our room cleaned. It’s 8 pm, and it has never been done—not even clean towels!! When I go to the front desk to finally get clean towels, they say there is no one available to clean at this time. I asked at 10 this morning and again at 3 this afternoon! It’s not because they’re busy cleaning the dirty hallways!! Not even any apologies —it’s like it’s tough luck!! The poorest service I’ve ever had at a hotel hands down and the most I’ve ever paid! DO NOT waste extra dollars to stay here. It is definitely NOT WORTH IT!

We stayed in the ice hotel on the first night, that has it's own review so won't go into it here. This hotel is huge! It's clearly set up for family breaks away. I wouldnt say it's catered much to couples, I mean there is no bar!! A hotel without a bar! Sure it has eating venues, but who wants to sit in a restaurant all evening to enjoy some drinks? We certainly don't, especially when it was really quiet at the time of our visit. I'll also add in terms of eating choice, there isn't much. That being said we did eat in the Safari Restaurant. We were the only clientelly eating there when we were in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we got was piping hot and very tasty. I saw a few negative comments on the food, but we had a good experience overall in the restaurant. Activity wise, we did the couples massage from the Aroma Spa. Sandy and Roxanne did us. Chose relaxtion and was very good! Slept like a log that night when I went to bed later. A tip.... take some cash with you as a tip is expected. We did leave a reasonable tip after I ran back up to the room to get some cash. We also did some ice skating. Haven't done ice skating for over 20 odd years so felt like I was a beginner again.... bambi on ice for sure! Decent enough loop around the grounds. The hire boots I got didn't really suit me that well. Clearly well used and just couldn't get them tight on my ankles, which for ice hockey boots is pertinent! However, not bad value for what you get overall. Can't comment on the snow tubing etc but from what I saw of our balcony looked decent! We just wanted a relaxing trip away.... There is an assor**ent of gift shops with plenty offerings. they don't open that early though. 10:00 is their opening time. We wanted something out the shop when we checked out at 09:00, but weren't going to hang about for an hour. For me, it ticked the boxes for a quiet hotel, comfortable bed, hot shower, decent enough food and coffee in the rooms. Our final morning we chose not to do anything at the hotel itself, we got up early-ish, skipped breakfast here, checked out and went to Quebec City to the Strom Nordic Spa. Spa-wise exactly what we were looking for (covered in another review). Overall, even though not much to do in the evening, during the day it's a great hotel to visit for things to do and we will come back here in the summer with our kids this time to do the water park activities!

We were looking forward to our stay at Glass Hotel for a long time and been saving money for it. Our suite had a fire place that they say it does not provide any heat, but it did and it made stay more comfortable. Sleeping bags were warm enough for a nice night of sleep, HOWEVER anytime we fell asleep there was a loud door banging. Our suite, Suite 2 had a connecting room and the door in between the two that kept on waking us up all night long by banging. The staff should have thought about how to prevent this disturbance during windy days. I am very protective of my sleep and thus was very upset not being able to get my rest. The morning after staying at the Glass Hotel we heard that blizzard is coming in and we asked if we could stay at the hotel another night. The manager was helping the girl at the front desk and we been told that we can stay another night if we pay triple the advertised price ($318). In addition we were also told that they are completely booked and that is the ONLY room that was available. We looked on the internet and found out that cost for the same kind of our present accommodation was bit over $100. DISAPPOINTING!!!!!

Cons: flies everywhere, uncomfortable beds, common areas smell like smoke and wet dog, food is disgusting, bought bora parc tickets online - (got charged for them!)and there was no record of them in my email or account and had to pay again at the entrance. Pro: convenience of being in same hotel as bora parc, closed off bedroom, private hottub in our room.

Pros: In the same building as Bora Parc which is amazing. Arcade- Super fun and tons of games. Room layout- the Murphy bed in the living room plus a king bed in a separate bedroom is good for families. Cons: Not the cleanest. The duvet for the Murphy bed had no cover. The fleece blanket had a sticker on it from someone’s air Canada luggage tag. The food!! There is no door dash in the area. The only nearby restaurants that deliver have French menus and no online ordering. The restaurants in the hotel were not great and closed early. One night after the water park we walked to the gas station to get popcorn for supper. No daily housekeeping. The garbage by the elevators were overflowing and stunk. No microwaves in the room. Only one microwave per floor by the elevators. I have no idea if I’ll be back again. Although it’s super convenient to be on site of the water parks, I think I would rather have access to food.
