Had a fabulous stay at the Royal Yacht, our Gold Twin room was really spacious and very clean. The food was excellent especially the breakfasts and the staff were really attentive and helpful.
Perfect location for accessing the local buses and tourist information. Would definitely stay here again.

The service / staff are amazing here. There is a Portuguese girl on reception who is really sweet and another European girl on reception too. There is a cocktail specialist in the bar who really knows his stuff (I think he’s Indian).
Staff at the breakfast in the morning are really good too! Try the oat milk latte.
Big disappointments are: the single beds are uncomfortable in the twin rooms with awful pillows. The pool in the spa is a bit dirty, the lighting gives the perception that the environment is cleaner than it actually is. The breakfast has no fresh fruit, surely you can provide daily watermelon, fresh pineapple and melon etc.

We stayed in the older part of the building and the room was very small and felt like it was on a tilt and made me feel vertigo. room 434.
But the hotel is amazing, the bars, food and staff are fantastic, the spa is lovely, everywhere is spotless.
Our room was just a bit odd in the walk from the door to the window, felt like it was up hill !!
The restaurant was so nice too, lovely veiw.

Looks nice from outside and the location is really good compared to other hotels. Staff friendly. Hotel has a theme of running that horrible looking wood throughout lifts are very small. The hotel needs money spent and updating rooms are dated and poor. Bed were exceptionally hard and firm. No luxuriousness at all. Staff friendly and rooms clean. I suppose for the price it was worth it but wouldn’t visit again. A shame because a few improvements this could be a really good hotel. They have the location the design on the outside is nice it just need a refurbishment inside and spend some money on it.
