Longueville Manor

From the time we arrived at the hotel, we were met with super friendly but professional service from everyone. From the hotel manager, receptionist, the wonderful Brian and Benson, bar staff and restaurant staff, I cannot remember the last time I experienced such warm service. The hotel itself is beautiful. A converted country home it has retained an intimate ambience with small side rooms where one can have tea, to private libraries and lounges. Our rooms were large with a newly renovated bathroom, very comfortable lounge area as well as very comfortable beds. Our bedroom, number 18 was particularly lovely, as it looked over the garden and was light and airy. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. There is also a very lovely spa and one member of the party had a very comfortable massage. It would be quite wrong to not mention the restaurant. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food is sublime. A wonderful combination of local provenance foods such as fish and of course Jersey potatoes as well as a cheeseboard of dreams! An extensive wine list and a lovely bar for after dinner nightcap. I would absolutely not hesitate about rebooking this hotel the next time we are in Jersey. Even though we were a small party, it’s very obvious that this would be the most spectacular venue for a a wedding or larger family event. Congratulations to the management team on a beautiful hotel and extremely well trained staff. We loved our time there. Jersey is such a beautiful island and this hotel enhance the experience.

The food and venue are first class. Staff are welcoming. I would strongly recommend the lunch superb food and value for money. The restaurant is beautiful as are the grounds. What are you waiting for. Enjoy. Who knows Charlie Hungerford may be there ? Or Jim Bergerac ( for those who remember the TV show).

Had a lovelt stay for my wife's birthday and it was excellent in every way. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

I think this is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The food superb. The grounds beautiful But I think one of the main things was the staff. They were fabulous it’s difficult to describe really how good they were. They certainly made this holiday perfect Well done to all of them

Excellent stay, food is out of this world. Rooms really nice everything so well maintained. Staff really friendly. Taxis very quick. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast the pancakes were delicious. Lobster tortellini and scallops to die for.

My husband and I spent four nights at Longueville Manor and thoroughly enjoyed it. Set in beautiful grounds, the hotel itself is elegant and historic. They even have a resident cat! The staff are friendly and professional, and we were always addressed by name. We stayed in the Longueville Suite and it was absolutely lovely, with a four poster bed, fireplace, sitting and dining area and a huge bathroom. We looked out over the gardens. Breakfast was included with our stay and was an absolute delight every day. The homemade granola with berries and fresh Jersey yogurt was my absolutely favourite, and the scrambled eggs are excellent. The restaurant is excellent for dinner too. We had a wonderful meal here our first night. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh seafood and the cheese trolley is incredible! The bar is cosy and friendly with a great selection of drinks too. I really can't say enough good things about the hotel and would definitely return on our next visit to Jersey.

5 star from the second we got out of the car. It was pouring with rain and we were greeted at the car with umbrellas which was lovely. The room was incredible as was the service throughout. We had a meal in the restaurant which was incredible from start to finish.

Just as you would expect. A 5 star experience. Wonderful helpful staff. Delightful room. The food is very special and quite delicious Being Jersey, the fish is always good and freshly caught. Even at this time of year the gardens look lovely.
