Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa

Our second year running at the Grand Jersey, as a family of 3, including an expectant mum & a terrible 2 year old. The hotel predominantly caters for high end business travelers & couples of all ages, and some older families, we were the only one with a child of this age again. This did not phase the staff in the slightest however, all were fantastic with us, and bent over backwards to help us enjoy our stay, from loaning us a bucket and spade for the stay, to complimentary milk and cookies in the room. Nothing is too much trouble for the these professionals, and with the euros on, they showed every game in the hotels cinema of an evening! Paul & Vinny were most helpful in planning our days, and of course Alvis who was a firm favourite with our little one, I’m sure he wanted to go back to the hotel from the beach some days just to see him! Luke over saw everything and really is a credit to the hotel, making out stay just that little bit easier and even more relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast is still the best of any hotel we have been to, and Kip and the breakfast team are great. As before the champagne bar was our place to be, Liu and the guys made us all very welcome for our afternoon drinks, and the terrace bar was always a great atmosphere. As soon as our next one is old enough to travel (or we are brave enough to) we will be back!!

Just returned from this wonderful hotel in beautiful Jersey. From the first welcome to the final farewells, the staff in this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble and each and every staff member that we came across are a credit to the hotel management. Our room was comfortable and clean with everything that we needed for our visit. Special thanks to Michelle, Paul & Brooke who were all so friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay at The Grand Jesey so special. We hope to see you again real soon. Great location, friendly and really helpful staff and the breakfast was excellent. Slow service in the champagne lounge and then you are charged a service fee but overall it was very good

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic attentive staff.

A superb stay from start to finish. We were greeted and made to feel at home by the professional and friendly staff. All the formalities on arrival were so smoothly done. The rooms were fantastic with views of the bay. The breakfast was excellent with staff that couldn't be more friendly. A wonderful hotel from top to bottom and we will define returning soon

My Wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay in The Grand Jersey Hotel, I have recently left feedback on the Hotels website but more needs to be said The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Vinney who was extremely pleasant and polite. One evening we were prevented by a very abrupt chap from going onto the terrace at 9.45pm because a private function was on, but it was obvious that all the private party were in one side of the terrace and that many had left, all we wanted was one Baileys and a beer! but were firmly told they were now shut, which was untrue!! The terrace bar managers also need to actually assess the average of the hotel guest clientele and adapt the music played to suit that age group and time of day, (Ibiza style drum and base isn't what most senior people want to hear in this style of hotel it seemed to be more for the enjoyment of the younger bar staff than the paying guests. The position of the hotel is unfortunately blighted by the road noise from seven lanes of traffic and a major junction(not mentioned or shown in any promotional pictures or literature!) The air conditioning was ineffective and the road noise even on the second floor was such that we were unable to open the windows to sleep well. The Pool and Spa are excellent as is the breakfast restaurant and staff, although we were kept waiting in a queue for a table on a few occasions. The cleanliness of the rooms and public areas is excellent. So, all in all an expensive disappointment.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly & helpful but the noise from the base music of The Terrace bar has ruined our holiday. We don't expect to have imposed music forced on us until late evening for a premium priced room on the third floor with closed windows. Have resorted to using our ear buds to cancel out the noise. We came for a quiet holiday but very disappointed.

Lovely clean hotel. Bed very comfy. Big bathroom. Lovely sea view. Staff very polite and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Tables were not cleared away as quick as they should of been for a 5 star hotel. Good selection of hot drinks in the room.
