Very disappointing 3-night stay. Do not let the online pictures fool you. First, to enter the room you have step up very high which made it difficult to enter. Each bed had a small lamp attached to the headboard, neither one worked. Shower had anti-slip coating on the floor, which was partially missing, water pressure very weak and near impossible to regulate temperature. Choices were scalding hot or freezing cold. The shower faucet leaked. Ceiling light was full of bugs, headboard and lamps dusty, and sheets had stains. After a long day of sightseeing, we came back to the motel and tried to watch tv. The screen had a giant application screen that blocked half of the screen. The motel office was closed the entire time we were there, so we had to request help from the next-door motel. We went through 5 workers before it got fixed. We will not stay here again.

Great location, cozy rooms, Kara the property owner let my family and I check in early no problem after a very long drive.

Good stay! The rooms were already warm when we arrived. The bathrooms are small, but no smaller than small discount chains with colored roofs.

Stayed for a night. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the heater worked! Check-in staff was helpful and efficient. A decent stay!

Kara the manager helped us pick the most wonderful room with a view of the beautiful private beach.
We fell asleep to the sound of the waves.
Perfect location to experience all the best of the Upper Peninsula.

A quiet old cottage-like room.. best views of the lake. No complaints. I was comfy and cozy, that's all I needed. The owner let me know quirks about the TV, whatever else, and was very down to earth and friendly.
I met some nice fellow guests and their dogs and had a great week. Beautiful little beach and fire pit, perfect base location to jump up to Whitefish, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon, or run up the road a little to grab a ferry to Mackinac Island. Fantastic stay and I'll be back!

Kara is a fantastic manager helping us select the perfect room to view the sunrise, offering dining suggestions and helping us purchase a discounted ferry ticket for our trip to Mackinac Island. We were so pleased we booked a second night.

It was an older roadside motel but the room was clean and just what we needed for a one night stop over stay on the way home.
