Hotel near the road but very quiet; we had a very pleasant welcome; the rooms are renovated; breakfast in a room other than the restaurant is copious; the very friendly, attentive staff; tempting menus which meant that there were people there at lunchtime and in the evening.

During our week in the Loire Valley one of our dear friends booked in to lunch at this restaurant in Thouars. I cannot fault it. The service was unobtrusive but excellent. The food very good and our wine nicely chilled. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend it.

Hotel-restaurant that I recommend without hesitation. The welcome was very friendly. What a pleasant surprise to discover such a clean room, everything was perfect and well arranged. Regarding the restaurant, we had dinner there in the evening. The menus and à la carte dishes are delicious and varied. The various dishes offered on the menu are more than sufficient and we feel the quality of the products used, enough to delight our taste buds. The quantities are also perfect and the cooking methods respected. We enjoyed ourselves from starter to dessert. As for the staff, whether at reception or in the restaurant, everyone was attentive, very attentive and helpful. Always a kind eye. We really felt good there. This is our second visit to this hotel and still just as good. The “castle” view rooms are a little noisier but those with a countryside view are quieter. They are well equipped and comfortable although a little small. Impeccable breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was famous. Wherever he officiates, the staff is charming.
