Lovely rooms, very comfy beds with luxurious bed linen. Delicious breakfast using locally sourced ingredients. Extremely helpful and welcoming host. A wonderful birthday treat shared with friends. Thank you

A very warm welcome from our hosts and a lovely spacious room with character. Excellent breakfast. A lovely family feel to the house. Very good value. I would highly recommend staying here rather than the Premier Inn, its no more expensive really.

We stayed one night prior to moving in to our new home in St Leonards. Andrew greeted us and could not have been more welcoming. He and his wife have renovated this impressive property and created a lovely, characterful place to stay with 3 uniquely styled rooms. We stayed in the Lady Isher room with a view of the garden. Its a beautiful, elegant room. The bed was extremely comfortable and super deep slipper bath is a stand out feature. Andrew also provides and excellent breakfast

Stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend as we wanted a break.Natasha and Andrew made us welcome and we had a lovely stay. The room was perfect for our needs with a very comfortable bed and quiet as well. Nice cooked breakfast or Salmon if available and also vegan options if required. Would recommend staying here as it was perfect for us.

Sherwood House is full of character, olde worlde and our room was very interesting with a gorgeous roll top bath. Andrew is an excellent host and brought tea to our room on arrival which was much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed an extra day.

An immaculate and imaginative room with so many of those little touches. Lovely hosts, spotless beautiful room, great breakfast, faultless. 15 mins walk to the beach, and there after a pleasant stroll into the old town. Would love to re-visit

The house is large light immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfortable with a spacious modern en suite. Natasha & Andrew are extremely welcoming hosts who provided the most delicious breakfast. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderfully kept rooms in a beautiful house. Host Andrew was lovely and made a fantastic breakfast. We stayed in Lady Ishams room which had a fantastic bathroom and Thomas crapper toilet! Planning to return and stay in Mad Jack's room.Plenty of parking right outside the door and just a short drive to town. Highly recommended 👌

We stayed for one night. Andrew and Natasha were very welcoming, and kindly let us drop our bags ahead of check-in as we were going to a lunchtime family party. The rooms were clean and fresh and we especially loved the funky decor in Mad Jack’s room! The beds were comfy with lovely linen so we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional and really set us up for the day. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
