Beautiful and quiet. Lisa was great and lovely to talk with. Very friendly. Loved the old church. Convient location to Washington University Hospital. Easy to get to and close to amenities. Would recommend for anyone.

I booked here for a quiet little get-away and it was exactly that! The "church" Inn was set up with several choices of places to relax, both inside and outside my guest room. When I awoke in the morning, my first sight was the beautiful set of stained-glass windows, which perfectly set the mood for my day. Next was the smell of cinnamon, which turned out to be stuffed french toast which was being served for breakfast. It was delicious!! As an added treat, Lisa (the hostess) packed a picnic lunch for later while exploring the city. She had thought of everything, including zip lock bags for any leftovers. And there's even a refrigerator to store items in until you're ready for them. Everything about this Inn was well thought out to make it a comfortable place to relax (garden tub, robes, white noise machine, books, water dispenser). If you love wood like I do, you will love the grand wooden staircase and railings. And there are stained-glass windows everywhere, adding to the beauty of the place! Outside, I enjoyed the two little gardens that were, while right in the middle of a residential area, amazingly quiet. Parking was great and entry was set up for ease. And as an added bonus, there is a staircase to the roof, where you can see "all" of St. Louis! In the daylight, I especially liked seeing the Arch, and at night, the "city lights!" And the hosts were the most delightful couple ... very friendly and concerned about my comfort.

I liked staying here so much that I stayed again on my way back! The hosts are lovely to visit with and are very warm and friendly. The building is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast was amazing both times! I felt so spoiled. The neighborhood is lined with picturesque homes. I am a travel agent and will recommend this beautiful place to my clients.

I stayed for three nights and very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere can't be beat: it's a beautiful old church that has been transformed into a lovely B&B. Much recommended. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed and bath comfortable, and the breakfast was made to my specifications.

Unique b & b experience in an old church. Very cool building and amazing woodwork. I loved the stained glass windows and uniquely shaped doors. Nice and quiet as well as comfortable! Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious! Lisa is a great host too!

The building is lovely and beautifully renovated. The hosts were kind and accommodating. The location and food were fantastic. It is located very close to all the restaurants in The Hill. I wanted to stay in the bathtub all night. It is a must stay! We will be back!

What a beautiful inn! We regret only having one night. Room was very comfortable and luxurious. The building is breathtaking and so painstakingly remodeled. We enjoyed visiting with Host Lisa, who made a delicious breakfast. Visits from Skippy the resident canine were delightful.

We conducted a small business strategy meeting (4) at the Clifton Heights Inn. What a great small venue that really had everyone engaged in a relaxed setting. Lisa the owner is awesome and very accomodating. Breakfast was spectacular and best restaurants in St. Louis on "The Hill" are within walking distance.

Not only is the Inn beautiful and well-maintained, but Lisa was the most gracious host and served wonderful breakfasts, even making accommodations for non-egg eaters like me. It is well located, right off the highway, and accessible to most everything in the city.
