Update: we looked at our charges and they did not take the parking off like they said they would. Don't stay here! They don't do what they say they're going to do! We stayed in 2 rooms during our stay. The first room had something that looked like a dried booger on the bed sheet, and the USB charging ports didn't work. Once the front desk was shown a picture of what was on the bed, they changed our room immediately and gave us a complementary breakfast which was highly appreciated. The only issue in the second room was the USB ports didn't work. The hotel charges $17 per night for use of the fenced, gated parking lot. The gates remained up during the duration of our stay allowing any car to drive in and park contradicting their claim on the website that it is gated. They did remove the charges for parking which was appreciated. Overall, any issues we had were remedied, but we likely won't stay there again.

A bit of an intuitive choice that surprised us. The security of this midtown location was confusing at first but immensely reassuring for both the checkin and parking. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, the rooftop bar a fun ending to the visit, and the area was immensely walkable despite the immediate first impressions. The artful vibe was great fun- an affordable option to the 21C we initially considered. we would definitely return

Truly a vibe unlike any hotel we've ever stayed at. Loved the central location with an amazing view of downtown from the rooftop bar where the mood was lively on a Saturday night. Watched a lightning filled thunderstorm skirt the south side of the city while enjoying a few drinks. The reception staff was efficient and reactive to our needs if not overly friendly. However all the other staff members and the crew at the bar were very friendly. Loved the many art pieces and installations throughout the hotel and the exterior. Took advantage of the communal instruments in the purple lounge on the west side of the 12th floor. First time trying out a banjo. The room was a bit cramped but the beds were good and the bathroom was up to par. the entire room could have used a good dusting but overall a great stay.

Very unique , clean and quiet. Room was neat but small but perfect for an overnight stay. Bathroom and shower was nice. Robes were an extra nice touch.

The hotel has a unique aesthetic with the artistic decor. The location is decent, across from the Fox Theater and with several walkable restaurants. The outlet in our bathroom didn’t work and our ironing board was broken. I called the front desk and they sent someone with a new ironing board, but no one ever looked at the outlet. They have a Keurig and coffee mugs in the room, so the first morning we were there (3 night stay), we went to make coffee and one of the mugs was dirty. When our room was cleaned, the dirty mugs were left on the desk and the coffee was not replenished.
