Room stunk of sick they didn't offer to move us or even attempt to clean. I ended up leaving a day early. When I complained she said she would give the room a good going over that didn't happen I had my 5yo with me this is just not on. The shower wouldn't even wash soap off you it was that bad and trees were being cut down at 8am AVOID!

The hotel was better than expected. Nice and comfortable. Staff was above and beyond any I've seen. Do wish there was a refrigerator though. I'll be looking to this hotel in the future.

Really looked after and enjoyed my visit, both the accommodation and meals were excellent and not overly expensive and we shall most certainly use the hotel again to visit family.

I was very impressed with the kind and lovely staff. We were travelling with a vulnerable relative to a funeral and they went out of their way to make her more comfortable (Offering to move us downstairs when she found the stairs difficult and helping with bags too).

Prefect location if taking an early ferry. You can eat on site or there are other local choices. The room was clean, had comfy bed and it was quiet. Parking available on site

We had a great stay at Dover East. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, lots of hot water, comfortable bed and a clean room. Lots of parking and the breakfast was lovely. All the staff we saw were brilliant, helpful and kind. We will be staying again, as this was a great location for what we needed to do. Fab!

Hotel very shabby needs up marketing rust everywhere. Long walk for meals and again brewery’s fare needs spending on. Usually a premier fan but will not be back to this one at all expensive cars against window banging doors all night not for us

Amazing stay staff couldn’t do enough to help us, the hotel was spotlessly clean the rooms were spacious and the beds were amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel although a bit dated the staff make the difference always with a smile

2nd time staying at this hotel and wasn’t disappointed. Staff are unbelievable friendly and helpful, literally can not do enough for you! Picked this over other hotels we have stayed at in Dover previously as it is fantastic. Restaurant staff are always attentive and efficient and food was quality and very good value for money. Rooms spotless, Steve & Tia on reception are just wonderful!! Felt very welcome! Would definately stay again!
