We were given a free room upgrade upon arrival. The chalet was very nice and modern. Good size rooms, big living space and kitchen and a lovely whirlpool bath. The balcony had a beautiful view of the mountain, right next to the slopes and very close to the amenities. The spa was absolutely lovely! We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, the sauna looking over the mountain and the steam room. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Les appartements méritent d’être rénovés. Notamment les salles de bain qui sont assez rudimentaires. Le ménage est vite fait aussi, on ne va pas dans les coins ni le long des plinthes… c’est d’ailleurs à se demander si les sols ont été aspirés avant notre arrivée. Frigo sale également. Un peu décevant sur ce point. De la même manière, le local à ski (chalet 4) n’a pas été balayé de la semaine (papiers et canettes par terre, poubelle pleine…). C’est dommage pour un 4 étoiles. On attend un certain standing, notamment sur la propreté des lieux. C’est la base. Le personnel est plutôt agréable malgré un couac dès notre arrivée : forfaits non activés. Nous avons dû remonter au pieds avec 2 enfants. C’était une première à Val Thorens, si nous revenons nous changerons d’hébergement.

The hotel is a little way out of town on foot, 10 mins walk to most places, but is well served by the free shuttle. Arrival via a non-direct transfer likely means travelling uphill from the bus station - a good 10 mins walk - far longer with cases or skis etc. So factor in using the free bus and make sure you are in hours. There is good parking under, but needs a reservation and these will be tight in peak times. In good snow, it is an easy ski out. Ski in is at the bottom of what could be an awkward red end to a blue, then across the road - depending on which chalet block you are in. It may be ski in from those in certain places... The rooms are a little older feeling, but spacious and comfortable.

A group of about 18 of us stayed here for a week in January and couldn’t really fault it. We had 2 apartments both were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Used both of the spa’s during the week, the pool and jacuzzis where great after a long day of skiing. You can ski in and out although the red run back in is quite steep and did tend to get a bit icy so maybe not ideal for beginners, although the alternative walk to and from the slopes also wasn’t too bad Would definitely like to head back one day.

Loads of time to write this! The ski locker access system has crashed for all. No problems …. Go to reception! Oh closed until 3. Go to the main reception …. Oh closed also …. Avoid if you want hassle free. Screws in place of plug raisers, no repair to lights in sauna as promised. Day two so sure to add to the list soon.

La résidence est très correcte par rapport au prix , le personnel accueillant et bien veillant. Le Spa est est super la piscine, les jacuzzis et sauna sont parfaits , j’aime après le ski aller au Spa , tout était très propre, je recommande, le garage est à un prix raisonnable.

De passage quelques jours à la résidence, nous avons pu profiter des services du lieu. Une demie journée au spa avec sauna, bain norvégien, jacuzzi et massage à permis une vrai relaxation. Sans oublier une fondue à l auberge du même nom et son verre de génépi pour clôturer la soirée. Expérience agréable à recommander grâce à un personnel accueillant et sympathique.
