I chose this hotel for an overnight stop on our way home from a holiday in Italy. I liked the peace and quiet of the rural setting. I also liked the old-fashioned feel of the hotel (it still used lock & key to open the room door)
The rooms were clean, the bathroom spacious and my husband & I preferred that the toilet was separate. It was convenient that the restaurant could provide an evening meal, as well as breakfast, as we were tired from a long day on the road. The food and wine were delicious and reasonably priced
I did need my rusty French, as none of the staff spoke much/any English, but we managed to communicate and they were all helpful

Séjour de 2 nuits. Arrivée vers 15h15, j’ai un peu hésité pour trouver la bonne porte ouverte. Personne mais sur le comptoir des clés et un mot à mon nom avec le numéro de chambre.
Personnel accueillant, on sent une bonne ambiance entre eux, ce qui est agréable pour les clients.
Le matin, on me prévient qu’on doit me changer de chambre pour la nuit suivante. Pas de souci, je refais mon sac.
Hôtel bien placé et calme (les trains ne passent plus depuis longtemps !)

This was an absolute diamond find! Booked for one night on our journey south, we rocked up on bikes on a very hot day - before we had our gear off the beers were on the table! Accommodation was spot on, very clean and all we needed. Unfortunately one of the bikes had a problem that warranted a 2nd overnight stay which was accommodated without any issue. The manager (didn’t catch his name) was outstanding calling around local garages and found us some help that rectified the problem and got us on our way. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but there are plenty of eateries in town. Overall we’d definately stay here again.

Second stay at this hotel. Large free car park in front. This time it was the 1st floor. No problem with room neighbors. Quiet environment. Fair price.
