We have been going to the Don CeSar for 15 years. We like to refer to this as “our place“. We absolutely love it. The beach is not crowded and the beauty of the Pink Palace is unmatched. We have noticed over the years that some things have changed for the better, and some things for the worse, but overall, the  integrity of the Don has remained intact. Highly recommend!

The Don was fabulous for NYE! While the resort was fully booked, it never felt crowded. The beach and pool accommodations are lovely.
I had a massage at the spa which was also great.

Unfortunately this year's trip to Don Cesar did not meet expectations. Our first room had filthy carpet and toilet seat that wouldn't stay up. Front desk would not offer to change rooms and offered us two drinks and a appetizer instead. But when housekeeping mng showed up to our room he admitted it was unacceptable and had us moved. The second room was cleaner but there was always a smell of raw sewage coming from the bathroom. It was mostly noticable when returning to the room after being away.. Bar, restaurant beach staff were all very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint is the tiny and old rooms for the price is not justified. The beach is nice but there is zero effort to prep the beach area. Other resorts on the beach use machinery to rake and clean the beach area. I notice no effort to clean the beach area and definitely was not machine groomed.

OMG!!!! What an amazing time that my family and I had. The hotel property itself is amazing. The staff treats you like royalty, from the moment we got there at check in I was greeted with a glass of champagne and the amazing service continued throughout our entire stay. The entire food and beverage department exceeded all of our expectations. Everything that we ordered was delicious. As a result, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, which we never do.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Always a smile and if I were to name someone that I thought went above and beyond I’d tell you how impressed I was with Zee. She served us our drinks at the events and was amazing. She seemed to remember what everyone drank and had a contagious smile :)
