Things started out poorly with checking in. We had three rooms on the same floor reserved since March. They tried to change that on us but we realized in time and waited for the few hours it took them to straighten that out. We requested a refrigerator in one of the rooms two weeks in advance. I had to pursue that after checking in and that took a while for one to be brought in. Two weeks and then one week before, I tried to make reservations for massages for all four of us. Nobody ever answered the phone for me to accomplish that. Immediately after we arrived and were told that none of our rooms were ready, we went straight to the spa only to find out there were no 60 or 90 minute massages avail during our three night stay. Maybe if they had answered the phone when I tried to call weeks ahead, we could have had our massages. We had one decent room and the other two were small with tiny bathrooms. All were overpriced for being so outdated. The pool area was crowded and very noisy. Not exactly a relaxing experience. They had the larger pool roped off all day for a private party that didnt start until the end of the day. That was the day we of course had chosen to try to enjoy relaxing by the pool. The best part of it all was the indoor bar and the bartenders, the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning and Peter, who waited on us. Overall, definitely not worth what they charge to stay there. Quite disappointing but thankfully our group of four still had fun. But honestly, we have fun everywhere we go together. I will definitely go back to St. Pete Beach and will definitely stay somewhere else.
