Saint Petersburg Tsentralny 4-star Hotels

The location of the hotel seemed great to us. We did not use transportation and walked to the city and Moscow railway station. You can stroll along the noisy Nevsky Prospekt and peaceful parallel streets. Close to the shopping center, beautiful Oushi. The room is small but very cozy. Clean the room every day We could not evaluate the sound insulation effect, we did not hear the neighbors, did not see them, it was out of time. In a cozy restaurant on the 5th floor, the breakfast is very good with a great variety. We went to the bar on the 7th floor and we could see the view of the cathedral. I read a lot of complaints about closing windows, including. Those who definitely need air circulation, be careful and write down your wishes. If possible, I think your request will be approved. Everything about us is great. There is a left-luggage office where you can store your luggage. Excellent value for money.

The breakfast was very good, there was freshly squeezed orange juice and carrot juice, this is good. The location is not bad, take a taxi to the shopping center for 10 minutes, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, it is worth staying

The Best Western is very well located in the heart of St Petersburg. It is just across Ploshcad Vosstaniya from Moskovsky main line railway station on Ligovskiy Avenue, near to the junction with Nevski Prospekt. The building is quite old as are many of the fixtures and fittings in the rooms. The one lift was also somewhat rickety. However, my room itself was large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. There was a safe, complimentary bottled water, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. There was a slight whiff of drains in the bathroom but it was fine with a powerful hot shower but no bath tub. Breakfast was served in the adjacent Du Nord restaurant and it was different but pretty good. The breakfast dishes were named after various cities. On the first morning, I had the ‘Moscow’ which consisted of granola followed by Russian pancakes, with coffee and orange juice. On the second morning, I went for the ‘Amsterdam’ which was porridge followed by brioche rolls topped with poached egg and bacon, again with coffee and orange juice. I enjoyed both selections, although on the second morning, they were late opening the breakfast room, so I didn’t get to finish my meal as I needed to get to the airport in a hurry. The staff were very helpful and were able to direct me to a nearby clinic in order to get a PCR test. I couldn’t say the same about the clinic called Invitro - absolutely hopeless ! I stayed at the hotel for two nights and paid £68. Great value.

Very good very comfortable! Service staff attitude is also good! The cafe downstairs can eat delicious food every day!

I’d say for a 4* hotel in a city centre it’s absolutely not up to the mark. The location is good that’s for sure. WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. Breakfasts were okay but all the time all same (just cereal for porridge was changed every second day) that made me tired within my 2 weeks stay. The maintenance of the hotel is not good. The main minuses are: minibar (fridge) is not in every room. There’s no hair dryer. There’s no mirror for make up. The wardrobe is too small so there’s no place to put the clothes for a long stay. The view was the worst I could imagine- you only see the wall and the windows of other rooms. The staff mainly looked like dull zombies. I believe for a hotel of such level it could definitely be better. I had some issues with the room safe that were fixed very fast so I can say they are responsive to the inquiries.

Жили в Гранд отеле Чайковский с 12 апреля по 15 апреля. Прилетели мы в Санкт-Петербург в 11 часов, пока добрались до отеля было около часа, девочки на ресепшене очень быстро нас зарегистрировали и сразу же заселили в номер чему мы были несказанно рады. Номер нам достался 223, чистенький, уютненький, в номере чайная станция, вода, которую приносили каждый день, убирали номер тоже каждый день. Хочу подметить, персонал отеля очень внимательный, при заселении в номер на кровати лежало письмо с шоколадками, каждый вечер небольшие записочки с пожеланием ”доброй ночи” и что больше всего приятно удивило, у ребёнка 14 апреля было день рождение, при заселении я об этом не упоминала, когда вернулись с прогулки, на кровати обнаружили письмо и небольшой подарочек-сувенирчик (набор шоколадок)... Завтраки сытные и вкусные, кофе-волшебный... Хочу выразить огромную благодарность всем сотрудникам ”Гранд отеля Чайковский”, сказать большое спасибо за внимание и чуткое отношение.

The location of the hotel is roughly between Moscow Railway Station and Palace Square. Its own spa is its characteristic. The hotel is a remodeled old house. Each floor structure is different. It is decorated with a large number of oil paintings and gouache paintings. It has a strong sense of art and is itself It is worth a visit. There is a free self-service coffee bar on the top floor. You can order omelettes for the breakfast buffet (free), but you have to talk to the foreman.

Room was an ok size for what was described as a suite Clean and tidy and all amenities apart from tea/coffee facilities. There is courtesy table in a room somewhere in hotel that does tea I believe but I do prefer to have this facility in my room No mirror by plug sockets made it difficult to do hair Also as this was my 50th birthday gift from my mum we had notified hotel. They promised a complimentary gift on arrival which did not happen. My mum did try to order champagne and was told that they didn’t put complimentary in room as my bd was a week after we depart!!!! It’s my big 50 which I was celebrating with my mum. I found this quite rude. My mum was willing to pay but they didn’t offer anything We also tried to book a massage which they advertise hugely in hotel and it’s run from same building, however we did not get a reply from the message we sent!

Great hotel with impeccable location. It is located right in the center of the attraction, 300 meters from the Kazan Cathedral, also from the Savior on Spilled Blood, 50 meters from the subway, and on the right there are restaurants, Starbucks, bakeries, and shops. We lived in a comfortable room with air conditioning and a view of the church, which was perfect. The room is big, beautiful and fresh. Strangely, bathrobes and dental appliances are provided on request, but free of charge. The breakfast was great, with fresh pastries, coffee, omelets, pancakes, pancakes, casseroles, fruits. Generally speaking, if we are still in St. Petersburg, we just stop here.

It was necessary to download the presentation at 150MB. Switched almost an hour with breaks. - Noise from ventilation in the day (after 10 a.m. time). Very loud. At the level of the air conditioner at maximum capacity, or the old refrigerator. At my arrival, it was unlikely to be corrected in 3 days, so I hope the hotel will take it into work. At least ventilation from 12 if nothing can be done with noise.
