Awesome and quant. Keep in mind it's a refurbished boutique hotel. Only complaint is the noise, the walls and floors are thin! Very clean, very nice staff and the cutest decor. This is my 4th stay! 🫶

We had an excellent two day stay. The location is excellent, the room was quiet and the pool area next door was relaxing. This was a fun funky place to stay. Everyone working at the hotel, pool and restaurant were very welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner both days at the Tap Room restaurant

Larissa was amazing super helpful and kind very informative and went out of her way to accommodate me . This is one of my favorite staycations not only the hotel being super cute but the staff is absolutely fantastic

Very clean and well designed ! All the other great reviews are correct . Special thanks to Ethan and Nat for their wonderful hospitality at front desk .:). It’s a Very comfortable vibe - and especially with free happy hour drinks ( and water & Parking ) it’s a win ! Plus lounge spaces are great . Room A + as well

This hotel is definitely not as pictured. Very run down and dingy in the rooms. This is what I was greeted with at 6am getting ready for the day. Asked management for a reply back twice. No word and obviously not a care for good service. The location was good and the evening front desk gal was helpful. I would never stay here again.

I arrived at The Avalon 8/9/25 and was greeted by Larissa and Ethan. Both very pleasant. The Hotel is very nice and very clean. The room was clean and Beautiful. The bed was very comfortable Larissa served champagne and wine to all the guests Ethan provided me a map, Larissa answered all my questions and provided a menu for The tap room If you are looking for a place to stay in downtown St Petersburg, The Avalon is a great choice, reasonably priced and a pleasant place to stay

Traveled to the burg to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Enjoyed an amazing stay at the Hollander a couple of years ago so tried out the Avalon this time. We were not disappointed. Parked the car and did not need it until we headed home. Located within walking distance to EVERYTHING! The Pier, parks, shops, fine dining, museums, the library, and a most amazing banyan tree (one block south). The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely large and comfortable. The shower as well, and I’m 6’6” 250 lbs. The staff is friendly and efficient. This hotel is highly recommended!
