I was at Grand Hotel Emerald at the end of July 2022, I was there only for one night. The room was spacious and clean so was the bathroom, the bed was very nice and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was nice. The staff members were super nice and friendly.

Отель не соответствует заявленным 5 звездам. Ванная с волосами на стене от прежних жильцов, в номере 2 бутылки воды по 0,33 в пластмассе и приходится реально выпрашивать дополнительную воду, до Рецепшин из номера дозвониться невозможно, ни от кого невозможно добиться утюга и губок для ухода за обувью. На рецепшин утром, вечером и ночью нет ни одного сотрудника. Пришлось ждать 5 минут, чтобы кто-то появится в холле из персонала. На весь холл первого этажа раздается смех (вернее, ржать) персонала, который должен быть на рецепшин круглосуточно. Портье видели только 1 раз, который стоял внутри за стеклянной дверью, двери он не открывал и не помогал войти с чемоданами. Проживали 6-8 января 2023г

The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes' walk from the subway station, and also within walking distance to Nevsky Prospekt, Winter Palace, Cathedral of the Spilled Blood, and Kazan Cathedral. A taxi from Moscow Railway Station takes about 10 minutes. Better than the old five-star hotels in Moscow.

I have stayed at this hotel for 17 days and honestly God it's an amazing one for the price and the quality we paid for. Centrally located on a quite Vostanya street. The room 328 was amazing and the amentias are top. Breakfast is very good with a variety of everything from coffee to Eclairs. Workers were soo friendly and helpful anywhere; Biggest kudos go to the cleaning ladies who do such an amazing job with a smile on their face. Highly recommending if you are looking for hotels in St Petersburg. Thank you so much Akyan and looking forward to seeing you in the future.

The biggest plus of the hotel is its location. Two stops at the metro and we are in the center of Nevsky. Station right in the hotel building. Breakfasts are delicious but not hot. No heating. In the room everything is available. Why is that only 19 channels on TV. Bed and towels are snowy. Pillows, blankets. Cleaning in 3 days was never once, twice had to ask the maid to pick up the garbage. Question to the hotel administration: Why are the slugs fenced the parking place opposite the main entrance and do not pass the taxi. With heavy baggage you have to go to the slugs. Please correct this misunderstanding. Response issues are resolved quickly. The view from the room to Neva, who is unlucky - to the inner courtyard. The hotel is huge, the corridors are long. Literally across the road of Alexandro Nevskaya Lavra For a few days a wonderful option of accommodation

When I booked, I had a bad review and a little hesitant. The actual stay was quite good. The location is quite close to the train station and Neva Street, belonging to the city center. Остановились в этом отели на три дня. Начну с плюсов, это идеальная уборка номеров, расположение. Но огромный минус отеля с 4*~это ресторан. Такого «бреда» я не видела никогда. Просто возмущение от завтраков!!! Обслуживают официанты -дети, которые с несчастными лицами выносят еду для посетителей. Даже и не могу представить кто это придумал! Повар видимо тоже ребёнок ,тк еда -это сырые сырники, холодный омлет, салат нарезан разными кусками, украшают это жутким майонезом! Кофе отсутствует, можно попросить булочку у официантов, тк она заявлена и под неё стоит пустая корзиночка ,но Вам откажут. Те Вы будите бронировать отель без завтрака, или уберите эту опцию в бронировании. Тк портить настроение начнёте с утра. Ресепшн тоже засыпает и параллельно разговаривает по своему мобильному. Не до гостей) Очень жаль, что данный отель имеет 4*,и вводит в заблуждение гостей !

This past September I spent 10 days in Saint Petersburg, staying at the Hotel Vera. It was partially a business trip mixed in with a much needed get away. As per usual I was treated with the utmost hospitality and care. Various guidance and assistance, ranging from airline ticket changes to searching for the best taxi fare (and everything in between) was always provided by the highly professional and well natured staff and management of this hotel. The proximity to downtown St. Petersburg, along with various cheap, safe, and convenient public transportation options makes the Hotel Vera even more attractive. Great, nutritious, and tasty breakfasts, not to mention the gourmet dinner menu at “Stepnov” - hotel’s restaurant, added even more pleasure to my stay. In summary, great value and a great place. And very unique as well. Exquisite collection of the stained glass from the past century. Paintings of various artists. Intriguing atmosphere of the quintessential “old Petersburg’s” boutique hotel… This is my sixth stay at the Hotel Vera, and I definitely will be back.
