Premier Inn St. Albans/Bricket Wood

The hotel is level throughout and the circulation space withjin the hotel and bedrooms is good but the accessuble facilities could be much imprroved by providing a wetroom although the grab rails and wash hand basin and WC ' were perfect for use

It was hard abd took us ages to find the hotel, tried to contact the hotel for directions nobody answered the phone. When we finally arrived there was nobody on the front desk took the receptionist 7 minutes to notice we were waiting. We advised it’s very hard to find and she replied laughing well we do have 2 postcodes, well maybe the correct one could be linked to the hotel website. The room was filthy, cobwebs everywhere, our room was right next to the Smokey area so lots of noise and the beds were so hard was like sleeping on rocks. We arrived around 10.30pm and we checked out by 7.30am just couldn’t take it any longer. We have stayed in so many premier inn hotels but this was by far the worst stay we have ever had. When we checked out we mentioned we weren’t happy and our response from the receptionist was well I can’t help you you will need to contact the hotel directly.

£100 CAR PARK FINE * DO NOT STAY HERE * FINE HAPPENED TO OTHER GUESTS TOO I stayed here one night. Arrived in the evening. The small car park directly outside the hotel was full. So I followed the signage to the overflow car park. Walking back to reception I encountered a couple also looking for parking, so I showed them the sign to the overflow car park. The man told me last time he used that overflow car park he got a big parking fine. I asked reception about this, the receptionist assured me that as long as I entered my registration number then there would be no problem, no fine. I entered my registration at the terminal the receptionist told me to use & thought no more about it. About 2 weeks later I get a £100 parking charge notice for using this car park. Huge inconvenience. Called Premier Inn customer service who were unable to assist. Also the breakfast was chaotic, ran out of buffet items; understaffed, about 30 min wait for cooked breakfast after ordered it. Entrance to hotel is down a bumpy track, not marked from the main road. Many reasons to avoid avoid avoid this hotel.

Very good customer service with a big smile! Was happy to help you around. Would recommend. Offered us more coffee or tea/ towel at anytime. She made me feel like we was apart of the hotel. Need more people like her ❤️

As it says in the title, PI are consistently good.... you know exactly what you are getting, this is a safe option when it comes to booking hotel. Room were clean and large, hotel was quiet, breakfast was great... what else to ask for a very reasonable price /

I met one of the nicest people at this hotel she is the reason we felt welcomed and settled in. She signed us in at reception and helped us with a lot of things. Unfortunately if it wasn't for the beefeater flooding and us not getting a breakfast in the morning I have left out one star.

We stayed here for 2 nights. At check in I asked when I needed to let them know about having the room cleaned after the first night and was promptly told that we couldn't have our room cleaned after the first night as they had 40 rooms leaving in the morning and only had 4 cleaners. I was taken a back by this so instead asked for clean towels for the second day, which we were then given. The shower gel in the shower was so watered down, it was basically just water Both nights the TV randomly turned itself on at 1-20 am. When I checked out, I was asked if everything was ok. I said not really and let the different receptionist know about our stay. She apologised and said our room should have been cleaned. Our stay fell far short of what you expect from Premier Inn.

We stayed here for three nights, as it was a reqsonable drive to the Harry Potter Studios. The staff were lovely, could not have been more helpful, rooms were spotless and comfortable, free parking and the breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Great value for money and good location for the planned activities the next day, with great service in the restaurant for all the families who stayed over. I would recommend this hotel for future trips to London.
