Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham - St Thomas

Overall great location. Nice people and food was okay.

Our stay at Margarhitaville was amazing!! The staff were all so sweet, welcoming and extremely helpful - they were all quick to respond when we called for a shuttle or needed extra toiletries delivered to the room. The place is MASSIVE. That being said though everything is still rather walkable. There’s a small coffee shop with some breakfast options onsite, as well as a restaurant with lots of great food and drink options. There’s two pools, one on the hilltop with a swim up bar, and a small private beach. You’d park your car (if you rented one) in the lot by the front office, and they drive you up with your luggage to your building. Calling a shuttle back is also easy. Keep in mind though that if you call them you may still wait about 10-20 min for them to arrive, which is NOT a bad thing - please remember that they have TONS of buildings and guests to take care of as well. The employees all have great attitudes, work hard and do their best, so again please keep that in mind. The location is also walking distance to Coki beach, which I highly recommend visiting earlier in the day since it can get very crowded. Kelly Taxi have cabs stationed by the front office too so calling a taxi is super easy and convenient, and if you have any trouble the front staff are happy to help you out as well. Overall fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again next time we visit!!

The rooms were so pretty and clean and the staff were very nice and professional. I loved my stay. I just wish it was better dining option but other then that everything was so good and beautiful

The Vacations by Rail (VBR), interary tour looked good on paper, but that is all that was good. Our tour was a rail journey through Scotland. Once I paid for the trip, I only recieved one communications from VBR.. I did not recive my actual schedule and tickets (bonifides), until two days before I flew to Great Briton. Needless to say I was getting concerned. The one tour in Edinbrough was OK, rate it a 6 out of 10. Our train trip to Iinverness was poor, we were given economy seats which was one car and not enough room for luggage. Our Hotel in Inverness was OK but it was far away from city center, where all our tours would start. We had free breakfast with our room but becuase of the tight scheddule to meet our tours downtown we did not have time to eat breakfast. So that was a bust. The tours out of Iverness were good I would rate them 8 to 9 out of 10. However, they were very long and we did not get back to Inverness untill around 6 p.m. daily. So we missed out on any good dinner places to eat. The train trip back to Edinbrough was as bad as the tripp to Inverness. As of today I have still only recieved one communications from VBR. I fell they left us and I am sure others out to dry. I will not use their service again and I would suggest you think hard about using them.

The room was very nice, the upper pool was very nice. But if you go to a Caribbean island for beaches don't waste your time here. The sea**** is terrible and the water is gross. The staff in the only restaurant is not attentive at all. Very disappointing trip.
