Amazing stay at Cala da Lua – we’ll definitely be back! Well, what can I say? We have had the best time staying at Cala da Lua in Boa Vista. The apartment was fantastic – a perfect one-bedroom with a great balcony and everything you would need if you wanted to cook a meal yourself. It really felt like a home away from home. The cleaners, staff, and owners were all absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. I’ll be honest, before coming I was a little worried as we have always stayed at the Riu hotels when visiting Cape Verde. But I was worrying unnecessarily! Staying here gave us the chance to experience Boa Vista in a completely different and much more authentic way. We ate out at some amazing places in town – fantastic fish, meat, and lots of choice everywhere. All the beach bars were great too, and Morabezza Beach Bar was amazing. But what truly makes Boa Vista special is the wonderful Cape Verdean people. They absolutely make the island what it is. They can’t do enough for you. I genuinely feel safer walking around here day and night than I sometimes do back home. Everyone talks to you, smiles, and makes you feel so welcome. My partner is a windsurfer, which is perfect here, but even though I’m not, there is still so much to see and do that I never felt bored. We will definitely be coming back to Cala da Lua. Even if you stay at the Riu resorts, I would strongly recommend going into town and experiencing the real Boa Vista – you won’t regret it. Thank you Cala da Lua, and thank you to the people of Boa Vista. You truly made our holiday special. We really don’t want to go home!

Spacious, friendly, helpful staff and management. Helpful with recommending trips. Booked taxis for the airport. The staff always had a smile and seem to be always cleaning. The place was very clean and tidy. Manager was lovely and concerned when i tripped, even put a mat out after. Felt very welcomed.

Great hosts, great, friendly team. (Lots of advice on where to go and restaurants). Wonderful apartment (had a penthouse terrace) Walkable to beach and main town. Very safe. Great breakfast Room had a kettle which I loved !! Would highly recommend (especially if you like water sports as centres very close by )

Super séjour à Cala da Lua. Environnement très tranquille et calme à 2 pas des plages et restaurants. Monica et Alberto sont aux petits soins, et le personnel est ultra sympa et disponible. Toutes ces personnes ont rendu ce séjour encore plus agréable! Mention spéciale pour Alberto et son omelette du petit-déjeuner : incroyable! Un gros merci à tous

La experiencia ha sido complemente satisfactoria, tanto el personal con los dueños te hacen sentir como en casa. La habitación la limpian a diario con especial esmero, el desayuno es auténticamente hecho en casa. Para ir a la playa tardas menos de 5 minutos y es preciosa. Si eres apasionado del wing Foil es el “paraíso”

Très bon séjour dans cet (appart)hôtel à Sal Rei : Alberto et son équipe sont très accueillants et offrent un service de qualité. Les appartements sont très propres et pratiques (cuisine aménagée qui permet de ne pas aller au restaurant tous les jours). La terrasse en roof top est top! Situé à 5 minutes à pied de la ville et de la plus belle plage de l'île (Estoril) l'hôtel est très agréable. Idéal pour les amateurs de Kite et Wingfoil qui peuvent rejoindre les clubs de la plage rapidement.

Une excellente adresse à Boa Vista
Trés beau séjour dans cet (appart) hotel à Sal Rei sur Boa Vista. Alberto et son équipe sont trés accueillants et serviables. Les appartements sont très propres, pratiques (une cuisine équipée permet de prendre ses repas ce qui évite d'aller tous les jours au restaurant). Le roof top est top! la ville est à 5 minutes ainsi que la plus belle plage (Estoril) où l'on pratique Wingfoil et Kite.
