The staff was great but the facility is in dire need of renovation.
The room was incredibly small, when they lowered the mosquito net and sprayed inside the net at 6pm, there was nowhere to sit and not even a meter to walk around the bed.
If you suffer from claustrophobia, you should definitely not stay here.
There is potential to be great, but some work is required before that.

upon arrival you are offered nothing, not even a glass of water. compliments for the imagination to the person who designed this resort: the light switches are positioned under the furniture, in the room apart from the two reading lights (ikea) there are no other lights, in the evening I had to use the torch on my phone. Noisy air conditioning, shot directly towards the bed and it is not possible to put it on minimum. Large yellow and stained plastic curtains on both windows of the room. The room is entirely made of concrete so cleanliness is difficult to verify. Be careful with the hot water which can cause burns. The wooden walkways along the entire garden are old and in poor condition. The breakfast is ridiculous to say the least, choosing only one option, obviously only American coffee or tea, espresso and cappuccino only for a fee but avoid because it is terrible. Sunbeds and mattresses on the beach definitely need updating. Beautiful beach with decent water, beautiful swimming pool. Excellent pizza in the evening at the restaurant on the beach. For what is offered the price is definitely too high. to be avoided however the staff is very friendly

The Costa Lanta is a slightly different hotel or resort. If you stay in the cheaper bungalows, it feels a bit like camping. But the a**osphere is really nice. You are in the middle of nature and still have all the amenities you want. The food at the Costa Lanta is really excellent. It may be a bit more expensive than other restaurants on the island, but the quality is very high. The bar is also highly recommended. The cocktails are very well made and definitely worth the money.

After being overbooked in another hotel 24 hours before our arrival, we chose this hotel urgently because everything was fully booked! Initially a little frightened by the previous comments, we were finally pleasantly surprised! Calm, service, adults only, atypical but original room, magnificent swimming pool with access to the beach, everything comes together! Concerning the mosquitoes we did not have to suffer from them the staff did what was necessary but we were in a dry period, after which the mosquitoes are everywhere in Thailand proof on all the tables of the restaurants you have anti mosquito sprays ... concerning the small lunch yes it is not a buffet, yes a glass of fruit juice will be missing but otherwise it is very generous and more than sufficient for our tastes! Thank you for this good time we will come back!

We were upgraded to the highest category - front row with sea view. We were so impressed by the beautiful chalet with the small terrace and the hammock in the middle of a beautiful jungle garden that we extended our stay from 4 to 7 nights. We fell in love with the complex with the great pool and the super restaurant (really the best phad thai!). The staff is outstanding and really outstanding! We have rarely met such friendly, helpful and courteous people in a resort! Thank you for the delicious and wonderful birthday cake and the bottle of wine and for allowing us to celebrate a wonderful birthday. The beach in front of the Costa Lanta invites you to take relaxing walks and watch an incredible sunset. It really is a very special place on earth and a particularly beautiful and relaxed resort. Only the cushions on the loungers on the beach were a bit old and could use a refresh ;) we would definitely recommend the Costa Lanta and would love to come back!!!!!!

We loved our 3 nights at Costa Lanta! Perfect, quiet location at the end of a calm & beautiful beach w/ warm water & lovely sunsets. Amazing pool with beach views & pretty grounds. Our room was minimalist & modern, yet quite small. The Staff is warm & friendly, super helpful, even helping us with ferry/pick-up arrangements. Good food & drinks, plus nice daily breakfast. Wood fired pizza a fun option! Definitely recommend & would return!

First time coming to Ko Lanta and what an amazing experience it is at this resort. Totally worth while. The reception officer Benz is so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to help, both the owners are very friendly and accommodating. My experience and stay here is great because of them. I have been to many hotels in Thailand and I would say their hospitality is second to none. The swimming pool is great too and you get your own section of beach just steps away from your room. 7/11 and lotus are nearby. Best place to stay in Saladan !

We spent the time at the Costa Lanta over the turn of the year and were confronted with the consequences of the still hesitant number of people entering Thailand on the one hand and on the other hand accommodated with extreme warmth. I could now comment on the price/performance ratio and the condition of the area, but that wouldn't be fair, since every hotel probably still has to struggle with the lack of tourists and cannot employ the entire hotel team that polishes everything to a high gloss. However, we cannot complain about our accommodation. It was clean and everything worked. The breakfast could certainly have used a little more choice but with the very low occupancy somewhere understandable. The pizza from the wood-fired oven was great! :) Much more outstanding is the staff. The team did everything imaginable to make our stay as pleasant as possible and also gave us above-average support with topics related to the corona requirements or onward travel - everything was very familiar and warm. At the end you almost felt sad when you left. Thank you for the great 3 nights and the convivial New Year's Eve!
