Beautiful property perfect for vacation in Salem. Right by Salem Commons every evening we would go and sit and watch the people and the doggies.

You truly can't get a better location. The property is well-maintained. The decor is appealing for any Nathaniel Hawthorne lovers.We did notice a few "less than clean" dishes in our kitchen as well as bugs in the upstairs area (lots of ants). We expect the latter comes with the old house territory.There was also a safety concern with an external door not locking - to be clear, the locking mechanism may not have been obvious to us. The hosts responded immediately to our concern and assured us they're addressing the issue.They are organized and their clear instruction made it simple to access and maintain the property during our stay.

Beautiful property!! Great walkable location. Well appointed; like a high-end hotel. Absolutely spotless. A little tricky to determine the correct entry door (watch the parking video!!) Front step a little steep. And hall noise from other residents a bit loud in the bedroom. Overall a great experience.

This property is centrally located in Salem right next to a very historic park and all of the activities that the city has to offer. It is a beautiful area to walk the streets nearby where most of the houses range from the 16 and 1700s. Also, the Peabody museum is nearby with many other attractions. The city of Boston can be reached via train or by ferry. And the restaurants are excellent and within walking distance. The greatest advantage of this property is that you don’t need to drive anywhere to see most of what is available in the area.

This was my second visit to Salem in a decade. Location can’t be beat. My Spouse and I, were absolutely in love with the walkability historic Salem charm. The unit we rented and common spaces were quiet, the atmosphere was cozy, and artful. Truly a well maintained historical home.This was my first Vrbo experience and it was ARachel, did a fantastic job communicating. We had everything we needed and more. 100% would choose this unit again, it doesn’t get any better if you want to be in the historic hub.Thank you so much Rachel!

Perfect, except the address is listed without a critical detail: it’s on Washington Square EAST. Because there are Washington Squares North, South, and West, we drove in a hopeful circle for a while. Other than that, it was a great trip.
