Moody Salem Home Away From Home

Very cute older property in a walkable location to shops, restaurants, and the downtown area. VRBO accidentally allowed a double booking, but the hosts were able to switch us to the upstairs unit for the same price which we greatly appreciated. We didn’t actually see the downstairs unit, but the upstairs space was perfect for two people. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, and I would definitely book with them again in the future.!

Central location, clean, comfortable, host communication was 10/10. We had a great stay! You’ll have to park on the street a little bit away if you don’t have a smaller vehicle. Think old timey close together buildings. Authentic Salem. My little car was perfect. No complaints just an FYI.Great value, nicest hosts!

Deljan and Emily made this birthday staycation so very magical. Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous, cozy, warm, and well taken care of.. not only does this home have that witchy-Salem aesthetic that you want when visiting Salem....but it's got such calming atmosphere too. The jewel-tone walls, furniture, and decor absolutely make this place spectacular. It is within a short walking distance to the center of Salem too, which makes for an easy night out on the town. The ease of checking in and out, coupled with the delicious snacks and drinks provided and warm and professional hospitality maybe this place by far, my favorite home away from home. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much!

The apartment was clean and well equipped. The driveway was difficult to park our car in but we were always able to find street parking. Nice place that I would definitely book again.

Navigation to Salem downtown was a bit of a task because cell service got quirky as soon as we backed into the driveway. A map would have been helpful but it all.worked out. We tried communicating through the app to let the owners know our plans for a later entry but the messages from them didn't come through email or the app for how to check in. We were blessed by a neighbor who called them on our behalf for entry. The space was gorgeous. Very roomy. Very clean. And ... moody if that's the word you want to use for a spot in Salem. It was a good location for bopping around downtowm.

It was great. The amenities are exactly as promised. We had to buy a few things like trash bags and a blender, but otherwise it was completely good. The parking is a little rough though. If you're an experienced driver, it's not issue. If you're not an experienced driver though, the owner has offered to park for you if you are having trouble.

The house was clean and perfect for my husband and i. The hosts was very accommodating and answerd right away when asked any questions. It really was a home away from home. Walking distance to everything in Salem. Would stay there again.
