Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites

Driving from NY to here on a raining day was a bad weather , non stop heavy rain. Whe arrived at the hotel , room was ready , loved the lemon water and chocolate chip cookies I. Front of the desk, plenty of parking from lot into the lobby. Couldn’t go out so stayed in the pool, ate in their restaurant, lived their alcoholic drinks, gave me a buzz, their nachos was good and their steak bowl plus their brownies , My role was make well, very colorful and well decorated, the ac was cold , slept good that night. The next day, it stopped raining, managed to walk around and do sight seeing. Check out was easy . Very modern look. . Has an ice machine and be sore machine on the same floor.

We enjoyed our stay! Everyone was very helpful and kind. We used the shuttle service and Adam the driver came in a half hour early so we wouldn't miss our train. He also took the time to help me find the time for the train. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were literally with in walking distance from just about anywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

Family trip, 2 adults, 1 child under 12, stayed for 2 nights. Had dinner at the Restaurant. Pros and cons, below. PROS: Employees were all profesional, friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious (2 queens and a large lounge), we had room to move around, plenty of seating (single chair, desk chair and the lounge. It was clean and the nautical decor was not loud and gaudy, very serene. Shower pressure was nice. Plenty of towels. Kuerig, kpods, ice bucket and several glass cups and water bottles were provided. Pool was heated, had a step around it, which was nice so you don't accidentally fall into the pool lol. Nice size, has restroom and a separate shower area with door for privacy. Restaurant is on the smaller size but still nicely decorated, staff was attentive and friendly. Turkey pot pie was delicious! Free parking. Located off to the side from central Salem, but still within walking distance of all major attractions. CONS: Shower had hard water, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided had a really strong scent. I couldn't figure out the scent and forgot to look at the bottle to confirm. It kind of smelled like a man's deodorant, pine, mint, and strong. The room information noted a refrigerator and we didnt have one. It wasn't an issue so we didn't ask about it. But if you need a refrigerator, double check, first. The AC works but is very, very loud. The light from the hallway is very bright during the night. It goes right into the room with the 1 inche or so gap at the bottom. Will definitely recommend and come back

The location is great ! And even if you want to go somewhere a little farther, the shuttle was amazing! Adam was the driver . He was courteous, kind and very informative about the sights. The rooms were clean and large . The hotel in itself was clean and everyone was helpful and courteous. Service was very good. The cold water in the lobby was great! ( and sometimes there were cookies!) I wish there would have been a safety bar in the shower and the AC was quite loud and was hard to keep at a comfortable temperature. I felt we were adjusting it frequently. However, I would highly recommend the Salem Waterfront hotel!

Amazing again. Friendly and attentive staff. They helped upgrade our room and did was amazing. Clean and wonderful as well.

We stayed at Salem Waterfront for our engagement anniversary and will be staying again for our wedding. The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were beautiful and the food was fantastic! We loved having Dave at the bar and are hoping to see him again at our next stay.

We stayed in a gorgeous suite with very comfortable beds. The staff is excellent! They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Warm chocolate chip cookies and a fire in the lobby were waiting when we came in from our cold outings. Restaurant breakfast delicious and they make good specialty cocktails. The Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The staff receives the highest gold star!

We truly enjoyed our stay overall. The staff was kind and cordial, the pool was clean, and the décor throughout the property is gorgeous. The only downsides were that the bed was not very comfortable - my back did hurt from it - and the food felt a bit lower in quality, more like supermarket-style food.

Great time good food good people.lots of things to go and see, historic places to visit and see.the people are very friendly and nice to everyone.so many shops and restaurants.
