Great reception and hostel, nice views and food

The view from this hostel is really wonderful and I think it’s one of the best in Salento. After two nights in room 22 with mountain view we wanted to extend 1 night but unfortunately it was not possible to stay in the same room. We had to move to room 14. This room is also quite big but practically without view and just good for one night. Try in any case to get a room with balcony and mountain view. There was some noise from the bar area, but it is normal in a hostel and didn’t disturb us. The good thing is, it really stops at a decent time. Thanks Maya and Nicolas you are very friendly and welcoming :) We recommend this hostel and would book it again.

Won't ever recommend this hotel ! Maya at the reception is rude ,very arogant and is a liar ! Yes a liar... Be aware if your room is in the basement with Zero view and not even possible to get fresh air ( Room 19-11-12-13 etc .!!)..Avoid this hotel , or be sure you are not accommodated in basement ! I would recommend a lively small finca: Los Naranjos, with amazing almost 320° on mountain view! Lucely is an outstanding welcome person ...and it s cheaper ! Don't miss it..If you are lucky book the incredible Cabaña del Cielo..see photo..!

I loved my stay at Viajero in Salento. It’s very social and meeting up people is easy during the time.

The location was really great because it was slightly out of the main square so more peaceful but the views from the garden and bar are incredible. Also all the staff I met were the friendliest of any hostel. Especially Maya, Jess and Ali whom were fantastic at making me welcome. The hostal is calm with a lively energy and a very social place with a wonderful bar and restaurant. Also the food I. The restaurant was very good. The rooms were clean, best comfy with privacy curtains, light and charger. I enjoyed it here so much that I extended my stay. Don’t hesitate to stay here you will love it.

Loved every minute of our stay! Beautiful, clean and friendly - and a great place to meet people if you’re a solo traveller. The breakfast is incredible! Would book again if I return!

This hostel was an overall great experience! From the comfortability of the rooms, beautiful layout and decoration of the hostel, to the amazing staff such as Maya, Manuel and Valen who really made Salento feel special and welcoming.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. Food was really good. Cheap drinks.
