We have stayed at this same hotel other trips. We have NEVER had an issue before and now THIS cluster of a nightmare occurred. The last time we stayed prior was in Jan 2020. Absolutely NOOO ISSUES PRIOR. Issue #1, we asked for a wake up call. I stood at the front desk and watched the night shift pull the clipboard from beside the computer and write it down. Next morning we didn’t receive a call. When questioned the morning girl she claimed it “wasn’t wrote down”. I told her where the clipboard was and informed her I watched. Her statement “well she didn’t say am or pm”. Really?!?! We asked close to 11 pm and checking out the next day. Lie #2…clean rooms. We had a blood spot on one of the pillows. We didn’t even complain. We were both wearing pajamas, and just threw the pillow to the side. Lie#3, my spouse has an actual ADA service dog. This is not some “emotional support pet” this is a dog that the VA pays for. He went to get a cup of coffee and a banana and was went off on for “having a dog”. We walked past as she was telling the manager “I didn’t know”. How did she miss 1.5 inch REFLECTIVE LETTERING “service animal”. We went down together since she had a problem with an ADA dog to eat to watch them have a “birthday party” song included for someone who was not even a guest. So others were eating that weren’t even guests. LIE #4, Noon checkout. After not having received our 0830 wake up we were pushed getting out and in the road. At 9:40 a maid was banging on our door. We asked her to come back. Every time we passed her she gave us dirty looks etc. NOON check out. Every bag etc she huffed and puffed and gave dirty looks. We left her a $20 tip on the dresser (maybe she was having a bad day), and checked out at 11:40 with a NOON deadline on the room. Nightmare over right…NOPE! The next day we got billed $250. When I contacted the hotel to ask why because the only thing we had not done was clean up some fur balls where the dog is currently shedding. We were told we were smoking in the room. Not know but **** no. We know exactly what we did and didn’t do in that room. Did we forget our leftovers in the fridge…yes. Was there dog hair…yes. Did we smoke…NO! Her response was “someone smoked in there maybe when you weren’t in there.” Really!?!?!? IDC we didn’t smoke! So I asked her what proof since I know exactly what we did and did not do. Her reply, “two managers smelled it.” You mean 2 managers of your lying staff…ahhh no…so as of right now while we dispute charges $208 for 1 night that they can’t even do a wake up call. $20 maid tip for huffy service and dirty looks. $250 for smoking when we DID NOT. So $478 for one night… GO TO GREAT WOLF LODGE at that price you can stay there cheaper with an indoor water park at a constant 80* temperature. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BILLED for crap you didn’t do, blood in pillowcases, and lies rather than even a simple “I’m sorry we forgot”. $478 Do yo
