The hotel ticked all our boxes and was better than we expected.. Road access, the Park & Ride and cycle paths to the hotel easy and safe. The hotel was very quiet even though our room overlooked thw A46.

The location was great, parking is very limited as they share the car park with McDonalds but we didn’t have an issue ourselves. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The bed linen was clean and the bed was comfortable. Some areas of the room were not as clean as they should be, splashed drink on the wall, a previous guests make up brush left in the room, toilet bowl was very stained (would of been easy to clean off), damp spores on the tile grouting. Nothing massively bad but attention to detail makes a difference.

Fantastic stay. The hotel surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco for our trip away for a special occasion. Great location, Comfy bed, good breakfast choice. As always a really good stay at premier inn

Really nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Food very good value and really nice. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyable stay . Staff cannot do enough for you. Would recommend for a good nights sleep.

Our experience at this hotel is on a par or better than that at Guildford last august - and that was superb! The front of house Kitty and her colleague Max helping in the restaurant, and the chef Mike have all contributed massively to our lovely stay. Absolutely nothing has been too much trouble. At check in I was asked if we would need extra special help if there was a forced evacuation of the hotel - my husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair. Never ever had that asked of me in all the years we have travelled together. There was a slight problem with the key card on one of my several trips from car to room - Kitty reprogrammed it and came with me to make sure it was working. Then dinner. I can be difficult to feed but asking if I could have the salmon without garlic the response was ‘of course’. Could we have some lemon for the fish - of course. Could my husband have a spoon - of course! All with a lovely smile and wonderful sense of humour. And so it went on. We are here another night and looking forward to it. There are many far more expensive smarter hotels where the service wouldn’t be so good - or the food for that matter. The salmon was cooked to perfection, moist but cooked through. The chips were real potato! A good size without being gross. And not too many - perfect. Broccoli and peas and salad all excellent. Thank you Premier Inn for excelling yourselves and for your selection of staff who enjoy providing service to their customers.

Clean, lovely staff. Young lady on reception with glasses was very helpful with local recommendations. We ate in the restaurant and it was clear that they are running on limited staff but they did amazingly. Hardly any time to wait for food and it was delicious. Thank you

Room was clean, but toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. The food wasn't very good at either evening meal or breakfast. The restaurant was woefully understaffed, at both meals there was one member of staff covering front desk, replenishing food, clearing tables! Poor staff! All the staff were very helpful and polite, we couldn't praise them highly enough. So please Premier in get more staff in your restaurants.

Stayed here while visiting friend living in salisbury, it was a great stay with friendly staff. Clean rooms with all the essentials. Free parking! The location is great and quiet, especially with a McDonalds across the road and a big Tescos. There is a petrol station just around the corner so no need to go searching for one. Peaceful restaurant not too busy or loud. Food was great tasting and speedy.

The reception and evening restaurant staff were excellent. Very good evening meal. We intended to eat out the second night but was so impressed by food preparation and serving staff we stayed in. Good breakfast but no proper orange juice.
