Six of us went to this hotel/restaurant for Sunday Lunch and we were surprised that we were one of only 3 famlies dining there. Despite this, the service was extremely slow and unfortunately the food was not good quality. We tried the roast of the day (pork) which was rather dried out and two people had gnocci, which they found to be hard and very watery. The decent meals seemed to be the fish and chips and burger, which looked well cooked and were apparently quite tasty. The absolutely worst meal was the vegetarian macaroni cheese with tofu, which was the most lurid, almost luminous orange colour but which, according to my wife, tasted revolting and had to be returned. Very annoyingly, they tried to charge us for the macaroni and the replacement dish although this was removed from the bill when pointed out. Overall, a really poor experience and not a restaurant that we will return to.
