It's very difficult to get there without a car. I walked for about an hour from Bath Station. The scenery on the way was very pretty, but it was raining and dark so it was hard to walk. I liked the bedding, cleanliness, and the water running well. I woke up in the morning and went to the restaurant, and the view was good and the food was good. It was also nice. I had a good time with friendly staff and a small but clean room. In the morning, the view was nice, so I walked along the river to Roman Bath and heard the sounds of birds and water and a wonderful natural environment. It was so good.

This used to be a lovely hotel but it is being refurbished and is now a dirty building site. Dust was coming into the room and the air con was not working.. in the past it was a great place to stay. I gave it the benefit of the doubt after a less than scintillating stay in March. I should have known as it was even worse. I felt very sorry for the staff who were having to deal with the mess. The hotel should have been closed during the refurbishment as it was most unpleasant. I would strongly advise against staying there at the moment. It is the worst hotel experience I have had for years and reminded me of a hotel in Cairo which was being rebuilt around us. Awful
