Stonehenge Inn

the location is great for visiting Stonehenge, the room is spacious, the bath water is hot enough.

We travelled to the Stonehenge Inn with overseas visitors hoping to have Sunday lunch. The pub was surprisingly quiet considering the time of day, and proximity to Stonehenge which had been swarming with people. We had drinks which were poor; returned and swapped for bottled ale and given glasses, which weren't the cleanest. Sticky table and menu, empty room, and large wall mounted TV showing some ball game all confirmed our gut instinct to walk, and dine elsewhere. Good location, plenty of potential; just need the Hotel Inspector now to revamp the place.

Not great…went for dinner with some family and the food was pretty poor. Come desert, ordered wild berry cheesecake for me and a pot of chocolate ice cream for my child. When cheesecake arrived was not wild berry nore was there any berry in sight it was a new york cheesecake. Completely tasteless and was unable to eat it. Waited ages for my child’s ice cream, all the while promising some chocolate ice cream was on its way…eventually had to ask bar staff where it was and they went and opened the freezer to find there wasn’t even any chocolate. So 2 incidences of out of stock product being listed as available and not addressed when it wasn’t. Won’t be visiting again.

Not the best place, Windows was not broken. Ice cole bathroom and u can hear everything outside to. Nice bed and nice staf.

There were no people at The Inn when we arrived, but we got a message that explained where to fint the key boxes. The room was big and warm, and it was very close to Stonehenge.

Best Sunday lunch in the area and worth every penny Been going there for almost a year and wouldn't change as nowhere else compares.

Exceptionally reasonable for a one night stay on a budget with the ability to walk to Stonehenge

Great place Great place with kids as they have a bus turned into a play area. Dinner and drinks were also great. Unfortunately our room had a plumbing issue and the water pipes made a loud sound every 4-5 minutes all night long. We barely slept as a result which made for a very long travel day the following day.
