從大門進入，就是一個露天的咖啡廳，四周綠色植物爬滿牆壁，在温暖的午後，和朋友三三兩兩的聊天喝咖啡很愜意。從右手邊門口進入，就是酒店的前台，樓梯比較狹窄，酒店房間比較大，而且乾淨衞生，早餐是傳統的英式早餐。

We stayed one night for a wedding nearby. Room was cold, heating wasn't working and only one mug in the room. Pillows awful. We were moved to a different room which still had no heating working but did feel warmer but we paid for a large room and this one was smaller. Receptionist was friendly and helpful but wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to others. Salisbury has many hotels better than this one

The hotel is very old and therefore very dated but we expected that. When we arrived despite specifying that we needed a twin room our room was set up as a double but the staff were really good and went to split the bed and gave us a complimentary drink. The room was spacious but I don’t think it had been cleaned. The sink had hairs in it and we had only one milk capsule which had a best before date of November 2023 so we weren’t able to have a hot drink. We went down to reception to ask for someone but no one was there.

The hotel is very tired. Staff seem bored not smiling etc. outside noise affected stay. Breakfast not very appetising.

A comfortable step back in time hotel in a great central location. Moments from shops and local bus service. Nice food and pleasant service.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in back packing hostels before. No lift and we were in the family room which was located up two flights of stairs. Apparently the lift has been broken for over a year. The room itself had mould round the bath and was generally just run down. We were also treated to some loud drum and base at bed time. The lay out of the family room was bizzare. The tv was above a single bed and the double bed was located at the other end of the room. There were also a pair of stained armchairs in a sort of living room type space. We got free breakfast because of the lift situation but this was a stale croissant and cold beans. We think breakfast was made on a Monday and just kept for the week. Oh and we tried to find the most ******* episode (might as well make the most of the bad hotel) and turns out it doesn’t exist.
