It's actually an Airbnb, a converted apartment.
The room was nice, spacious, and fully equipped.
However, be aware that the front desk staff and service were mediocre. The access control kept malfunctioning, causing me to be locked out several times. Be careful.

Very modern & clean space! Having laundry & the full kitchen in the room was a game changer. We enjoyed the pool table area & we utilized the grills on the balcony while playing baggo. It was located very close to all the things we wanted to do & just a short drive to the mountains. Beautiful city!

One of the best hotel states I’ve had, very unique concept where the room felt more like a two bedroom apartment, the crazy part is the cost was similar to staying at a conventional hotel. Highly recommended.

Super Clean, 100% Brand New, Full Kitchen, quiet, and wonderful! I would stay here with my family again. Great to get some extra space in a good location. Not as much staff as a regular hotel, but I prefer the space and amenities over a cramped room with more service.

Placemakr is centrally located in downtown Salt Lake City. Walking distance to parks, shops and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated with upscale furnishing. The staff are helpful and caring. The kitchen is functional and there is also washer/dryer in the room. I would stay with Placemakr again and have shared it with family and friends!
