Our weekend was absolutely amazing, my kids really enjoyed the pool and the jungle jim , Beautiful place , Highly recommend , very peaceful , beach is walking distance, restaurants nearby . The rooms were very spacious , the bathroom is absolutely , the staff were very friendly and helpful , very safe area , parking is secured

Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Bathroom was huge!! Gardens were impeccably manicured. Staff really helpful and polite. With central location, a few minutes walk from the beach and 10 minute drive from the shopping malls, as well as the market.

accounts keeping very poor and confusing. pest control needs to be implemented as a matter of fact. human beings can't share bedrooms with lizards and frogs. leaking roof should also be water proofing.

It was pleasant stay, we enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, great service from staff as well. We struggled with transport like uber & bolt but that's not on the vanue, in case one plans on using the same.

When there's one or two things wrong with a guest house / hotel or B&B we can overlook it, but when it's multiple it can't be. The pillows are some of the worst we've slept on. We travel extensively and I was shocked. the options were fat and very firm (almost like rubber) or completely lumpy like big balls of firm cotton wool. The bed was firm but lumpy. In terms of cutlery & crockery it's totally basic and limited. 1 large plate each, a normal butter type knife and fork, and cup and saucer and teaspoon. That's it. No bowl or sharp knife at least. The Friday night there was a family above us that sound like we were in a frat boarding house. The floor above us is paper thin and we could hear what sounds like stomping and moving of furniture until 23:30. When talking to the manageress on Saturday morning and asking her that surely you must be aware of how loud it is when someone stays upstairs and how "thin" the flooring is, she just smiled and said "oh they were only here for one night" but we'll move you to another room." That fridge didn't work in the second room. The freezer section of the tiny bar fridge was heavily iced and fridge part warm?? We did report it to the cleaner but absolutely nothing was done. Never again!!

Beautiful place with friendly staff. Lauren and the staff treated us like royalty and the service received was superb. Breakfast was delightful and the place is well situated not far from Salt rock or Thompson beach.

They could definitely improve on the breakfast it was very bad, no bread food also not nice. They could also add someone to be available at the house 24/7 for security otherwise you are your own security

We held my daughter’s wedding at Valley Villa, with several functions over 3 days. The entire stay was absolutely fantastic. The staff at Valley Villa are incredible right from the owner Ella, to the manager Sandi, to the hotel staff (notably Mpumi and the gardener and maintenance guy, Tinashe. The venue itself is ideal as it is beautifully decorated, well maintained and has so many possibilities from pool side events to garden events in a vast, highly secure location. Will definitely recommend to anybody wishing to stay in Salt rock/ Ballito

Lovely venue, beautiful large room, with great garden views...and close to the beach... Just a very noisy screeching gate which disturbs one's sleep when guests arrive at 4.30 am . I am sure some maintenance could sort this out... We didn't have breakfast at the venue , but it would have been nice to know what was on offer... Thank you Desiree and Dave Madden
