Staybridge Suites SALTILLO by IHG

Location quite well - surrounded by several restaurants and shops. The rooms/appartments are clean and functional well equipped. The breakfast was from my perspective well and adequate. Free laundry (self made) is offered. I would stay again.

It was not fresh, the eggs and beans were always cooked many to ones, they were not fresh. The fruit was good mostly

Great location and cleanliness, but customer service needs improvement. Our stay at Staybridge Suites Saltillo by IHG was overall positive, but there are a few points worth mentioning. The hotel is in an excellent location, very safe and clean, which we truly appreciate since we travel by road from Texas to Mexico several times a year, and Saltillo has always been our preferred stop to rest. We booked three rooms for eleven people and one pet, which is an emotional support animal for my youngest son who has autism. The first person who assisted us during check-in was very kind and everything went smoothly. However, later another staff member made uncomfortable comments regarding the number of guests and the pet, even though we had already informed the hotel and complied with its policies. Everything was eventually resolved, but we felt that the treatment toward us was different compared to other foreign guests. We do not want anyone to face consequences; we simply suggest better customer service training to avoid prejudice and ensure equal treatment for all guests. Despite this, the hotel delivers on what it promises, and we hope to stay here again in the future because we value its safety, cleanliness, and pet-friendly policy.

Room was big and relatively clean. Some things like the sofa and the toilet looked dated. It was quiet and the aircon was silent so I had a good sleep.

Good location extremely unfriendly staff, had a two room 2 queens, 1 king and a living room , traveled of course with my family, I paid the extra money so we will have a comfortable stay, but unfriendly front desk woman and manager Fernanda Margain extremely offensive and disrespectful treatment, had been a Hilton Honors member for many years and had never treated us this way

Clean rooms. Good parking. Good location. Staff was super nice n accommodating.

For me, by far the best of the main, branded hotels in Saltillo. Rooms (I usually have a 1 bedroom suite) are spacious, well-equipped and comfortable with plenty of clothes storage. Lighting in the room is good and easily controlled - bright when & where you need it, soft likewise. It's getting a little tired, but the staff are great and I like that I can open the windows if I don't want or need air conditioning. Blackout in the bedrooms is excellent, the tiredness shows mainly in the bath/shower rooms, but they're OK. There's a laundry room with free washing machines & dryers, so no expensive laundry service. Parking in the underground car park is easy to access by car and from the hotel. Breakfast starts sharp at 06:00 during the week (unlike other, "fancier" hotels) and the selection is OK - genuinely freshly squeezed orange juice is great. Downsides? Wifi can be a bit slow sometimes and you have to login every 24 hours with every device - irritating when service suddenly stops every day over 4 weeks. For a stay of more than a couple of days, it's the best option in my view.
