A hotel very well placed on the square, and police most of the day and evening.
A small downside for the noise inside the hotel with the staff who make no effort to be discreet when checking in new guests, at any time of the night…
The staff is very helpful, and the reception team speak English
A special mention for the breakfast which is very complete, and the possibility of being in complete darkness in the room to rest

Très bon établissement. Décoration dans le style bahanais. Localisation top pour les visites Le petit déjeuner est top avec des spécialités locales. Nous repartions tôt le matin avant l’ouverture du petit déjeuner donc l’hôtel nous a proposé de nous préparer un petit en cas avant notre départ. Chambre climatisée ! Frigo dans la chambre. Beautiful historic hotel in the middle of everything I wanted to see and do in Pelourinho. Excellent shopping was just a short cab ride away. Would definitely stay there again. Very clean and the staff was amazing.

Thank you very much to everyone in the CafeBahia hotel team, from the Front Desk amazing Adrian, Gabriel, Marcelo and Leanna, to the kitchen team with a delicious exotic breakfast to the Housekeeping team with daily fresh sheets and towels. You all worked hard and delivered a TOP NOTCH experience with your concierge local tips on safety, culinary, “Blocos” info, events scheduled, cultural point of interest. We visited Feb 7-10, 2024 During Carnival, Optimal location “Prace de Se” to experience “Pelourinho” authentic festivities. Clean spacious bedroom and bathroom (Shower). Absolutely ! we will be back again ! The team made the difference ! Thank you all !

Super hotel dans une maison de style très bien situé pour visiter Salvador. Ma chambre était suffisamment spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le personnel est accueillant , disponible mais très inflexible, inutile d’arriver une minute avant l’heure au petit déjeuner où il est impossible de négocier en cas de départ avant l’heure d’ouverture . El hotel es una edificación muy antigua decorada con buen gusto y respeto a su patrimonio histórico. El trato del personal es excelente. Todos son muy amables y serviciales, especialmente Gabriel de recepción.
Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy limpias, aunque tienen algunos problemas de mantenimiento. En mi habitación el agua se filtraba a través del piso del duchero del baño y las toallas están percudidas y gastadas.

Ótima escolha em Salvador no coração do Centro Histórico. É possível ir a pé aos principais pontos turísticos do Centro e é uma boa opção para quem vai a Morro de SP, pois descendo o elevador Lacerda já está aonde saem as barcas. O casarão antigo e rústico é encantador. Quarto amplo e confortável e café da manhã delicioso! A equipe de recepção tbm é prestativa.
