Very elegant hotel, nice lobby and comfy sitting area and friendly staff. We arrived early and left our luggage in the hotel and returned late afternoon to check in, our luggages were already placed in our room. The room was spacious with sofa and table and desk. There was water kettle for boiling water and tea bags provided. The bed was slightly too soft for us. In the evening, we enquired about ways to go to train station, the gentleman explained clearly to us options and direction and even printed a free transportation ticket for us. The next day when we were leaving the hotel the same gentleman bid us farewell politely and helped us with the luggages.
We have a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend this to friends.

The hotel location is superb. Easy access to all the historical visit location. All are within walking distance. The hotel personnels are all very helpful and polite. They have share alots of location information and its a great help for 1st time to the city. The hotel facilities is superb. We love the SPA (Sauna, Steambath, swim pool). The breakfast is very high quality breakfast and has many choices. We love their pastry and breads. We definitely will come back to this hotel in our next visit to the city.

Good facilities overall, one thing that could be improved is the shower curtain, it had a bit of an odour and was yellowish.

Similar to another reviewer, prior to this we stayed in a beautiful hotel so this one felt a bit average in comparison. We stayed in the annex and our room had a cheap/tacky feel to it. The staff were lovely, breakfast was good and the spa was a nice bonus but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights for my mums birthday. As a family of 4 we booked to stay in the family room which offered a double room with lounge area and a separate smaller room with three single beds. And a bathroom. The room was of good size and very quiet. The only thing it didn’t have much of was drawers for clothes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I must mention Daniel who helped us with restaurant reservations and suggestions which were all fantastic. Breakfast had a good selection and good quality too. A lovely touch on my mums actual birthday as they decorated the table and presented her with a cake. The location for the hotel was perfect and a walk away from the shops and restaurants of the old town and close to the tour bus stop too. Easy access from the hotel as could go on bus 2 without any change to a short walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Salzburg
