It was New Year’s Eve, so I gave the children red envelopes. Because the order was divided into two times for two nights, I needed to change rooms before going out the next day. When I returned in the evening, I saw the red envelope on the table. I immediately realized that I had left it in the previous room due to my rush that morning. The management of a B&B, especially in Europe, can be seen from the quality of its employees. Very good!

Pro: Clean, well located, friendly staff, good breakfast. Lift available for upper level. Asked for extra pillows, not a problem. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed sitting out on terrace in the evening (room 16). Within 5/10 Minutes walk to train station. Might be an issue: this room doesn’t have a separate shower (tub with shower). Some Street noise, calms down at night (disappears with windows closed).

We had booked online on the hotels webiste months in advance and even got a booking confirmation.One day before we were to arrive a message was received advising us to check in online.Since we were travelling we couldnt do it.On the morning of our arrival we get message saying that due to an oversight our booking in the villa property is not there and they are shifting us to their other property ie the inferior and not ideally located one.Then what followed was a barrage of messages pestering us to confirm the alternate arrangements which we declined. We did not like the way they bumped us of to a sister property not of our choice and chose not to stay there. The episode left us feeling let down

The Villa Flöckner is perfectly located to get from the airport. Line 2 stops directly outside. We discovered also it is one stop from the main railway station too. We were greeted beautifully by ‘mein host’. His tips on the Salzburg card proved to be perfect. The room was on the top floor with a lovely view of the mountains in the distance as well as being spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower perfect, warm, easy to operate and powerful. The breakfast was included and it was very good in choice and quality. There were warm pancakes and wraps, quality cold cuts and cheese as well as fruit salad and muesli for those who prefer it. We stayed for four nights and access to the tram proved excellent. We went to the Unterberg, into the Altstadt, Hohen Fortress, out to the zoo. All within the price of the Salzburg card.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Flöckner Bed n Breakfast. The rooms were spacious and modern decor including a smart tv with Netflix access. The rooms are very quiet and we had a lovely view of the distant mountains from our room. Bathroom including a bath and towel warmer. Breakfast was delicious with a good amount to choose from for a BnB. The host was lovely and friendly. The main train station is within a 5 to 10 minute walk and if coming from Salzburg airport the number 2 will stop in front of the property. There is a lift on the property but be mindful it does stop half way between floors so there are some steps to climb with luggage. I highly recommend a visit to Villa Flöckner BnB, stay and enjoy your visit to Salzburg.

This is an excellent hotel about 500 metres from the railway station and within walking distance of the old town. Alternatively there are bus stops nearby, which would take you the station or the city. The rooms were modern with all the facilities you need for a city break. The rooms were also extremely clean.

We only stayed one night in this hotel but it was perfect for our needs. It's walking distance from the train station and a lovely walk along the river into the old town. We are a couple with a 13 year old son and although the room was small, it fit everything in and was absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and I recommend this hotel for a short stay in Salzburg.
