Hotel Salzburg-Hauptbahnhof

The location is excellent! Right after exiting Salzburg Central Station, turn right and you'll immediately spot the sign. The room size is moderate; there's enough space to open two 20-inch suitcases. There was only one bottle of water in the room, and refills weren't available. However, there's a large supermarket inside the central station where you can buy delicious water and bread, and the front desk even suggested going there to buy water, haha.

The location is absolutely fantastic, just 100 meters to the right after exiting the train station – incredibly convenient! They have a sauna, which I didn't get a chance to try, and the facilities are all good. However, it's quite pricey at almost 1600 a night, and that doesn't even include breakfast. Some rooms face the train station, so if you're sensitive to noise, you should mention it in advance. Also, I arrived at 1 PM, but my room wasn't ready until 2 PM. I said I'd go explore first and pick up the free transport card, but they told me I couldn't get it until after check-in. There was a tall, middle-aged male staff member at the front desk who was very humorous.

This hotel is incredibly close to the train station, just about 50 meters walk from the exit. I was able to check in early, which was a huge plus. It was a bit pricey in the summer, and the room amenities were basic, but perfectly adequate for my needs. The hotel breakfast on the 6th floor was exactly to my liking, with beautiful views, and I could enjoy my meal in peace. The hotel service was also super nice. When you book, they offer free Salzburg transport passes which they email to you in advance – so convenient! Highly recommend.

The location is excellent, right outside the train station. Getting around to different places is also incredibly convenient. The hotel provides an indoor transportation card, and the bus to Königssee is just around the corner. The staff are all very nice and enthusiastically gave directions when asked for help. There's a shopping mall with a supermarket nearby, which is handy for grabbing food or anything else before catching a train. Overall, highly recommended!

Everything was great, except for the humming AC. On my first day, they kindly helped me store my luggage, and I was able to check into my room by noon. The hotel is a bit small, but the room size is decent. It's right next to the train station, and overall, the facilities and service are perfectly adequate, easily a 75 out of 100.

Booked a business twin room for two adults and one child. We made sure to specify the number of guests when booking, and the hotel had already set up an extra single bed for us. The room was quite spacious, and the location couldn't be more perfect! It's just a few dozen meters to the right after exiting the train station. Shops, McDonald's, a supermarket, and a bus stop are all within a minute's walk – super convenient! The room had a kettle, and the air conditioning was comfortable. The only minor drawback was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent; it's right outside Salzburg train station to the right, so you don't even have to look for it. They provide a public transport card that's sent to your email. The room isn't large and comes with one bottle of mineral water. The air conditioning unit is a bit noisy. The room and hotel facilities are comparable to budget hotels in China. You need to use your key card to access the elevators and go up to your floor. Breakfast is on the 6th floor. The restaurant environment is quite nice with good views outside the window. The breakfast itself is decent, meeting the basic standards for European hotels, though it can't compare to hotels in China. Overall, I'm satisfied.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its incredibly close proximity to Salzburg Central Station – you're literally just 50 meters from the station exit. However, the hotel facilities are quite old, though they are reasonably well-maintained. Soundproofing isn't great; you can clearly hear doors closing in other rooms from your own.
