Room 101 (sleeps 6) Pros Location. Pre stay communication via WhatsApp and the App are convenient and easy to use. What I would call “the extras” are very nice. The breakfast box was amazing value. There is a vegan breakfast box option. Highly recommend it. Pleasant interior. Cons Above a kebab shop with associated smells lingering in common hall and entrance. Dirty entrance way. Very narrow stairs. Noisy - on a main road. In need of maintenance: lights not working, electrics a bit iffy, paint peeling, door handles loose, shower loose, windows peeling and needing some tlc etc. All good quality decor and items but not just looked after. Essentials not provided. We had to ask for toilet roll for example. They dropped it off the next day. It looks like they have left dishwasher tabs instead of laundry powder as well. There is no dishwasher. Washing machine had previous occupants socks in it. It didn’t bother us but worth noting the bathroom has no lock and is off the room with two sofa beds and a dining table. The door handle to the man door fell off when we arrived. The lights in the kitchen living area were strobing. When I turned them on the lamps in another room surged. So many switch, we couldn’t work out what they all did. Reported the door handle and lights. It was fixed quickly. But it should not be up to a guest to give them a list of the things needing done. We were there with a 3 year old and a baby. The cot was fine. No highchair. Very very hot inside the apartment. Even with the heating down as low as it would go. I would be cautious staying here in summer. They had three dusty fans and we had them on but we couldn’t sleep well it was so hot and it’s only. March. Summer must be unbearable. I was nervous opening windows because my 3 year old was running around and they were very easy to climb out of. It is also very noisy with the windows open. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone traveling with young children. Although my boys did enjoy the space. It is very large and they could play. The kitchen also does not have an extractor fan but does have a warning about opening windows so they don’t set off the very sensitive smoke alarms.

Great experience very nice property clean great location would definitely recommend staying here for work or as a family vacation. Especially like the washer and dryer.

The apartment we stayed at was very large and spacious. The floors are heated in the winter which is a nice touch but the bedroom is freezing as there’s no heating. The automated communication system is difficult and I had to spam it in order to get a hold of a human that would actually work with me. Getting additional towels or other amenities you typically get from a hotel is very difficult because of the automated WhatsApp chat. Location is great and they provide coffee and creamer which was nice.

This was such a unique place to stay. We felt like locals and the balcony was delightful. It had all the necessities and the shower was the hottest and best one we’ve had on our travels. We will stay here again.

Thought our whole experience was great, love the location! Couldn’t figure out how to turn on dining light & tv doesn’t convert to English. Not really a big deal just wanted to watch a bit after our long days exploring. Would definitely stay here again, thanks!

Excellent location for all activities. Tough to find at first and need to park in the underground’s garage near by. A bit of underwhelming on the preparation of the rental. No Soaps in bathroom nor towels.

Great location

A perfect location for everything. It's right in the old town of Salzburg where a lot of actions are. Easy transportation to everywhere, including the tram and buses to the Hbf right outside the building. It's clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay there and recommending it.

Great little find in a good location We stayed here for a couple of nights to see a bit of Salzburg and do the Sound of Music tour. The apartment was super easy to find and we had a very spacious and clean apartment. Very good location. There are stairs (FYI, no lift, so if carrying a bit of baggage grates on you, don’t stay here) we had 3 suitcases and some skis between us and were absolutely fine. At first, walking in is a a little bit of an eyesore but you fault the apartment, very spacious, well decorated and welcoming. Communication was done via WhatsApp but can’t really fault that, it was very helpful and straight forward. Only thing was there was some noisy drilling before 8am but we are pretty early risers so it didn’t bother us. Nice cafe for breakfast just across the road!
