We stayed 4 nights (family of 4 with a baby), and it was very relaxing. The beds are really confortable, the place is quiet and the pool is perfect. We recommend Cabañas Lamaite!

Very cute duplex with the host on the property.
It is quite a trek to get to the property, very much off the beaten path and you can not walk to the beach from there, you must drive.
Beautiful landscaping, safe and secure.
Shower doesn’t get hot, just barely warm.
Metal roof so when it rains it is LOUD.
Beds were not super comfortable.
The host was very kind. Only speaks Spanish but greeted us with the most delicious banana bread.
Would recommend to those Costa Ricans escaping to Samara for a weekend getaway. Would not recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to the beach.

This property was a great find for our family’s stay in Playa Samara. The two cabanas and property are meticulously maintained. The owner is super responsive and you can tell she really enjoys hosting. Our three girls loved the pool. The property is walled in and feels very safe for children. The food was excellent as well.It is only 5 minutes from Samara.

Endroit très joli, plein de charme, tenu avec passion par Maïté, et son fils. Très relax, on peut chiller autour de la jolie piscine très propre, sur les chaises longues colorées, sur un lit couvert, où l’on veut et comme on veut. Tout est décoré par des touches de bricolage maison coloré, des phrases et citations zen partout, au sol de la partie sous couvert du restaurant, dans les chambres. Des rideaux volent au vent, des lampes recouvertes de tissus cousus, des mobiles de bois de coquillages,... la liste est très longue! Mais le rêve de toute une vie de Maïté a pris forme et se révèle être un endroit super tranquille où l’on fait comme il nous plaît. C’est parfait pour chiller à pied nus. Le petit déjeuner est super bon, agrémenté de cakes maison, de fruits,... les cabanes en bois sons charmantes et confortables et on est (heureusement) très loin de certains hôtels impersonnels! C’est charmant en tous points! Nous avons apprécié l’air conditionné qui est un vrai plus en saison humide. Dans un pays comme le Costa Rica, l’isolation n’est pas une priorité. Mais on vit à l’extérieur et l’on dort relativement tôt. Il y a suffisamment d’endroits autres pour terminer sa soirée, sans déranger les voisins. Ce n’est donc pas un problème, contrairement à ce que l’on a pu lire dans certains avis négatifs. Nous y retournerons, c’est certain!!! Nous avons adoré. Gracias Maïté, por compartir tus sueño! The stay was perfect. We were there for a week, and our room was cleaned three times. The cabins and grounds are immaculate. The owners are working all day, every day to keep everything clean, safe, and welcoming. And the pool was surprisingly big for a two-cabin property! It was an incredibly positive stay.

We had a wonderful stay (family of four, two ten year olds). Super-nice and helpful people; terrific breakfast. You need some type of transportation to get to Samara, but with a car it's five minutes. Highly recommended.
