Al Ru Farm is a beautiful , Romantic , scenic place that anyone will enjoy and have a permanent memory. It’s unique and we stayed at the Australian Suite which was very romantic and it was decorated with fairy lights on the ceiling. As you walk-in to the room it gives an ambience of a fairytale. The room is equiped with everything you require to cook and amenities. They provide you with fresh breakfast groceries to cook your own. The farm has white cows, chooks, turkeys and two cats (kitty and kitty). They are friendly. Host ruth is very friendly and the staff as well. You can walk around their massive garden.

Do not book this for an overnight stay unless you are attending the wedding. We booked here not knowing there was a wedding happening. We had to put up with the noise of the wedding and could not access the lovely gardens because a wedding was going on. The breakfast was some eggs and bacon in your fridge, not the farmhouse served breakfast we expected. On booking we selected and paid for dinner, which we found cold in the fridge for us to warm up. The room was very nice but overpriced compared to accommodation we had in the Barossa Valley. So our advice is only stay if you are the bridal party or guests of a wedding.
