Beautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly,especially Latasha! My request for a quiet room was granted. The 6th floor in low numbers is good. I stayed 3 nights for work and my room was SPOTLESS! The mattress was firm, my pillows fluffy. I especially loved the slippers because I forgot mine. Upon arrival Franklin helped me with my luggage and on a rainy day my umbrella was in my car. He kindly gave me one. The only drawback was the Valet parking. They're very good at what they do but I wish there was maybe off-site parking. $18 is a bit steep, I walked to work so I paid for my car to be parked. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant Ridley but the aroma sure smelled good. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby's decor and seating was very comfortable.

Wonderful hotel! Great location as it is close to the university and restaurants. The most friendly employees as they answered my questioned with a smile and had great suggestions too. Ricardo went above a beyond when he got my car when I had forgot something! Thank you a great stay.

Great staff, despite no self parking, valet does a great job, thank you Edwin! Food is delicious! Front desk is very accommodating and knows me by name. My room is ready before arrive. I truly enjoy my stay and always look forward to coming to Charlottesville.

I love this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Bedding, linens, towels -- all top notch. Staff are extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful - from the front desk to the bartenders to the valet parking folks. . . just a pleasure all around. I will be back! :-)

We stayed here for UVA graduation. The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The graduation celebrations and acknowledgments made the stay extra special. The location is centrally located and convenient for graduation ceremonies. Richard in valet was very helpful and professional.

Really nice hotel, ideally located, with beautiful rooms and bathrooms. The staff were also very nice, including front desk, valets, and Ridley waitstaff. Before booking, I read some reviews claiming the valet parking was bad and the wait for one's car long. On the contrary, I had a great experience with the valets, who were courteous and really fast.

The Draftsman is a nice hotel. Richard and Keekee were in charge of valet. They were friendly and speedy with my car. You can tell they enjoy what they do and really good with customers. They were efficient and engaged in good conversation. I enjoyed my experience.

Hotel was wonderful for UVA graduation. The Valet, Travis was so helpful for us as we maneuvered vehicles to move our daughter home! So much appreciation for a great LAST experience for our family. The proximity to The Lawn was so easy to walk to Final Exercises!

During our departure my husband and I had received news that was not the best, heading out the hotel we were less than excited to say the least. Keekee approached us with our car keys from valet and she had the biggest smile, her “good morning, i love your hair” completely changed the mood for my day. Keekee was absolutely wonderful, genuine, and will keep us coming back to this hotel should we be in the area again. Thank you Keekee for such wonderful service :)
