Not a typical HIE experience. Hotel needs an upgrade and a refresh badly. Not very friendly customer service, no acknowledgment of Diamond membership upon check in. I haven’t seen a TV with such a small screen size in a hotel in years. I can usually connect to the internet with ease and few clicks with IHG Connect. I don’t think this hotel even has this, it was your old style internet connection website where you have to enter codes and passwords with a third party to log on. I haven’t seen this in a long time with IHG. It normally recognizes me when I try to log in from my device but these people are still operating from the Stone Age. Carpets and flooring were filthy. Both phones were disconnected from the wall. I plugged both in and only one worked. Breakfast was luke warm and coffee too, even at an early hour. IHG needs to visit this location, I wouldn’t be surprised if they tell them to get their act together or even consider a reflag. The Comfort Suites in town is actually better.
